Well, ive had a very good day, did loads of baking this morning, including some white choc chip muffins, they were delicious!!!! :happyhear only the second time ive tried muffins, and this time i remembered not to over mix them, so they wernt as hard as rocks like the last lot!!!! Managed to do all the cleaning i wanted, watch Martin on channel 5s The Wright Stuff (hes on all week!!!) and all the baking too, so now im shattered, but happy, think i will treat myself to a glass of wine tonight before i attempt an early night!!!
Hope everyone has a good evening, take care xxxxxxxxxxx0 -

It can sound quite exotic listening to the crickets chirp, that is until one gets loose (it's the males that sing the loudest  ) and hides out somewhere in your bedroom keeping you awake all damn night :mad:Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!

Evening all!
A quick post from me this evening I think! Im really tired and didnt have the greatest day ever, alls I wanted to do was come home and crawl into bed. I got asked out by a customer though , and spent most of the day a bit. Now, normally id feel flattered, but this time - it was a customer so I got thinking and started hoping that I dont flirt with customers as I dont want that to happen again! Im cringing as I type.....
Anyhoo - I snipered someone on ebay last nightfor an item of furniture ive had my eye on for the week and got it at a bargainous price and it matches my coffee table perfectly so im impressed. I love it :happyhear already! Cant wait for the delivery! ive only got another two major (between £100-£300 each) purchases then the flat is fully kitted out. After the TV cabinet im getting a bookcase then a new mattress - then ive got everything I 'need'. Im paying for them all with cash too and im paying off the debts too so im getting quite good! Im feeling virtuous.
Also got home to a small pile of cat puke, she seems fine and is going about her merry way with no signs of any stress or distress or pain, so id better set to it and get something to clean the carpet with. In fact, she is now meowing at me and looking at the window as she wants to watch the world - id better open the blind!
Apart from that I dont have much else to say except enjoy your evening all!
MATH: Im keeping my fingers crossed for you guys. I really hope it works out well!

First of all, MATH - the very very best of luck to Mrs Math. Prayers go up and good energies go out to all involved, for the very best outcome for all concerned.
Next, well, I've had a very industrious day today. When I think back to two years ago, when all I could do was sit and watch the dust bunnies forming in the corners, the weeds rampaging around the garden and had to walk with a stick when crossing the sitting room and have a chair handy when cooking - I feel rewarded for my unwavering belief in the fact that it WILL get better!
This morning was spent mostly tending to my mistress the washing machine. Either feeding her or emptying her, putting up wet washing and taking down dry washing, putting away folded washing and piling up the ironing for tomorrow afternoon. After lunch and before taking the boys to the swimming pool, I managed to cram in vacuuming the kitchen and computer/utility room, plus vac & mop the bathroom floor.
After delivering DH and DS to swimming, I spent a happy half hour creating a Valentine's card. I love getting out the scissors and glue.I then vacuumed the dining room and sitting room, changed the throws on the relevant chairs, took the shower curtain down and fed it to my mistress to wash while I was out and cleaned out the drinks fridge. (Which isn't as glamorous as it sounds, it came with the house and holds fruit juice, occasional fizzy pop and a huge vat of cold water for squash drinks, plus all our vitamins and supplements and the Guinea Pig's green food). Finished with five minutes to go before having to leave to collect the boys again. Now that's talent. :rotfl:
Since then, I've had a frustrating and heated discussion with DH about why he can't withdraw £10 to spend on Valentine's day. *sigh* Just HOW difficult was that?? *sigh* Fortunately, he seems to reluctantly understand the why, even if he doesn't appreciate being thwarted in his intention.
Somewhat glumly following that, I then made the promised sausage lumps (sausagemeat mixed with a stuffing mix, formed into balls and baked in the oven) with sweet potato mash and baked beans. Being terribly sad whilst cooking is obviously a good mixture, as they came out really very nice indeed and everybody cleaned their plates. Just got the dishes to do, the Guinea Pig to feed, the shower curtain to put back up, the swimming things to put on to wash and I can put my feet up for an hour or so. Hurrah!!:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -

Go on Math, please? I could do with a laugh. Not a church goer here I'm afraid but I have everything crossed for you and Mrs Math. You deserve the best news possible.
Here? Well, I'm on the verge of quitting. Can't work out why I bother as I spend 3 hours clearing up and they spend 5 minutes trashing it again, with DH thinking that he is doing me a favour by cleaning things when he is only getting in the way and DD not even leaving me with enough space in her room to put her to bedOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

I am worn out and have come home to a bill from Sky for £72 because the phone line for the 2nd box hasnt been working . It would have been nice to tell us this before, when OH phoned them they claim they've sent out letters before but we've not received them. I would get rid but OH is a tele addict and sis pays the £10 that normal charged for the 2nd box. I'm just really grumpy because work is so hard at the moment not helped by the fact I'm only there part of the week so I miss so many changes. I know I'm lucky to have a good job and need to keep working to give us a decent standard of living but my heart is screaming for me to be at home with DD. Its a no win situation and I'll just have to get us to it. Anyway sorry to have a downer. Good luck Mrs MATH hope the interview went wellSorting my life out one day at a time0

Math I really admire that you are sticking to your dream and vision for your family and village. I'm sure if God has put these things on your heart he won't see you without.
I hope it goes well for Mrs Math tomorrow.
Well I might go and do the ironing for the load of clothes I managed to put out, they are a bit damp but will iron dry so thats saved me a tumble dry. Cleaned my dishwasher with white vinegar this afternoon....it took me a while to find white vinegar I was stood in tesco looking at the vinegars looking very confused eventually asked someone if distilled clear malt vinegar was white vinegar and they said it was lol. Are you all sure it doesn't make your towels smell of vinegar???
Right best go and have a quick read elsewhere then need to hover that talc patch on the sofa and do the ironing...I might even do some more tidying up..... or maybe not!!!
Right my DH has just come home so I best get off. :kisses3:Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
sending get the job vibes to mrs math- good luck
have had some good news on my business front today, I went to view a shop to let last year, but they decided to sell up  but have spoken to an estate agent today and looks like I will be able to let it soon. At the momment they are converting the land all around it to apartments, so it will be a little while yet but that will give me the chance to get all my stock and funds back up together
ok I will bore you with the particulars. The shop is grade II listed and like a little alladins cave. there are 3 rooms in total, well 4 if you include the tiny little basement(about 2m squared, I presume it was a bomb shelter in ww2). the 1st room is about 4mx4m and the there is this little hallway(just like a little cave just chipped out the brickwork) to the next room which is all like a cave and then a large store room out the back, It really doesn't come alive in words, but is just so quaint and has such amazing energies, I really can't wait to get in their. Once I can go and have another look I will take some photos and try and upload them.
Oh I am so excited can you tell
I will be selling lots of new age bits and pieces fairtrade clothes candles, crystals, herbs ect and am hoping to turn the 2nd room into a therapy room, which I will hire out to alternative therapists (reiki, acupunture ect.) and the 3rd will be a meeting room for spiritual groups and the like.
anyways enough of me rambling.
hugs to all who are not feeling to good.
big hugs
