    Had a lovely day.

Went to Newcastle to see DD who is a student there - had a nice pub lunch and a long natter.

Went to primark and treated her to a few bits and pieces - they had pyjamas for £3 in the sale!

Also bought her JML toastabags to encourage her to eat more often during the day- she seems pleased with them.

Got home and 6.30 and checked my e mails then came on here.

Not a bad nights kip here:j

WM on and will be put on airer. DW emptied from last night. Toilet cleaned. DD's pack lunch done. The floors need a sweep and everywhere is pretty much clean and tidy.

Have hospital this morning for some tests, then OH & I may go for a coffee. Local pub has got all different posh coffees and a posh biccie for 69p and will be nice to stay out for a further 20mins, but will need to see if Im up to it after the tests:rolleyes:

Lamb stew was delish last night and friend had a huge bowl with 3 dumplings and 2 pieces of bread/butter. Then had some rice pudding.

DD pack to school today......thank goodness. Had her parent evening last night and everything is fine with no worries. It sounds like shes not very confident with other kids her age. She doesnt like answering in class incase shes wrong, but teacher said she rarely is:confused: I think being an only child comes with its own problems, but she does have many friends her own age but does prefer adult company. I think this is why she wants to work with animals and not humans...LOL...she wants to be a Zoologist:eek:. Shes also quiet???

Anyways, Ive got to go ready for the hospital.

    Breakie:Cereal & Fruit
    Lunch: Jacket Spud
    Dinner: Shepards Pie & Veg

    Have a good day.

    Good morning.

Another cold one here but no frost thank goodness.

This is my Friday so I always hope that its a quick day. Nothing really needing done today. Just a quick tidy and hoover (done by hubby tho'!). He also needs to go to the bank. He got his first Job Seekers Allowance cheque yesterday and although he had to pass the bank on the way from the Post Office didn't think to pay the money in.

Yesterday at work my manager got someone to go out and get us all Starbucks coffee and cakes from Marks. Now call me cynical but I find this stranger behaviour from a man who struggles to say "Good morning" to us. Everyone thought I was just paranoid

I am due a bonus at work in February and got the figures for it yesterday and was very surprised with what I am getting. Quite a relief tho' as it will keep the wolf from the door for a bit longer.

Dinner tonight is chicken pizza with tomato sauce pasta.

    Have a good day.

    Morning guys

I couldnt fall asleep for ages last night and when I finally did, boyf woke me up coming to bed  . I think we need separate beds!!! I already find it hard to get to sleep if we go to bed at the same time, if I go first im usually fine, and if he goes first then ill not sleep for hours! :o

Yesterday was fairly quiet at work and managed to concentrate on some paperwork that needed doing, and then had a coughing fit in front of a customer because the air was so dry! Im hoping that today is just steady so I can get plenty done. At least its Thursday, its nearly Friday, and Im not working this weekend so ill be able to have a good long rest, im really looking forward to it! My evening consisted of working out some debts and paying some more off - recalculating as I go which is quite fun! There is only £100 left to go on the next account (and im due a refund for some things ive returned), £250 on CC (but I pay in full every month) and ive saved £87 towards paying off my £2000 overdraft which is at 0% till summer, then £1500 at 0%. Ill hopefully profit a few pounds by saving for it this way as the £87 is in my ISA and add to it each month. I must admit that its very nice to be in control of the finances! Just need to get boyf sorted now, which I started last night.

Lunch today will be hm soup and dinner will be something with salad, I havent quite decided yet!

Hope you all have a good day!

    Jo xx

  • morning all,
had a rough day yesterday at hospital, yes they said you need medication, but you can't have it til we've done some more tests, so still hanging in limbo. didn't get freezer sorted last night, couldn't be bothered in the end, by the time i'd got in and everything sorted just collapsed and watched tv.
    breakfast fruit salad
    lunch baked pot and coleslaw
    tea pasta i think.
good luck pp at the hospital,
    love

LOL, I am exactly the same way with dh. If we got to bed at the same time he will drape his hand/arm over my back and I HATE IT! I lie there seething with anger and just want to cut his arm off! If I get to go to bed before him its bliss and I'm alseep within minutes.

PP-I hope your hospital visit goes well for you. xxx

WOAS-Hugs :grouphug:, I hope you start to feel better soon.

Last nights mock driving test went well, made me feel a bit better about the real thing :D. DH however, has decided to go away for 3 days to watch footie/have business meetings and will be away the day of the test . Well, I'm damned if I'm going to call him and tell him how I did. If he knows whats good for him he had better remember to call me.

Today is playgroup day for the kids, its the only time that ds and dd2 get to be out of the house each week. Mixing with other kids I mean as we do go to the park and library etc. I am hoping there will be good, cheap playgroups in the new area. I've been onto upmystreet.com and it lists quite a few but I wont know how good they are until I get to view them.

    Off to make another coffee,
    Chat later,

  • Good Morning all,

Hope everyone is feeling ok this am? Sorry to all who have had restless slepps, I on the other hand could sleep on a washing line (given half the chance). ;)

Well never no where to start in this house with the children.

Put a load in wm last night b4 bed, so I will start by airing the clothes me thinks.

Mum & toddler group also for me this am, ds loves it, and it's a joy to seem him legging it up the street as we turn the corner where it's on. He's only 15 months, and so quick with everything, keeps me on my toes I can tell 'ya.

    Love to all
