    afternoon peeps!

a boring day in the Hol-flat today...meeting about Easter fieldtrip to Ireland this morning, and have just finished a massive set of chemistry calculations for next monday...being shockingly organised here!
flat is fairly clean...at least, my room and the communal areas are, and I don't care about the guys' rooms.

have just waved a friend off home for the weekend  and i miss him already! these last few months he's become like my closest friend, and helped me through some rough times, so now i feel lonely...and he's only been gone an hour! and i have to wait till sunday to see him next! what am i going to do?!?

tea - jacket spud with something, havent quite decided yet
the meal plan is almost sorted for the next 2-3 weeks, just need to check a few dates and things so that i dont have myself scheduled to do cooking on days when im in a rush, and try to get just freezed-meals on those days.

have a good day everyone, and please, can you all try and get some sleep tonight! please??

Just a quickie to let people know that cinemas often have stands with free postcards on them too. I cheekily grabbed al oad the other week, even though not seeing a film, just so I could use them as change of address cards for when we move.

    Hi all
Only just managed to get to the pc, was at work by just after 7 this morning, trying to get on top of the work load. Had a lousy night last night, too stressed to sleep, worrying about CSA appeal.

    Soup for lunch
Spag Bol for tea for the men, spag & cheese for me
    Blessing on you all

Woo-hoo, I got a payrise today! Not before time too - when I started this job in the summer it was part time new job/part time old job, so my salary reflected that. It very soon became full time new job, but no salary to match. I emailed my MD last week to point this out & he's sorted it already. I am chuffed......so chuffed in fact I went & blew £6 in Asda on a new bra/pants set that I don't need (but liked). I need you OS'ers to knock me back into shape!

Hey Lucie - it's OK about the undies :D And think of it this way - how often do you wear your undies before you get rid of them? They must be the most used items in my wardrobe, (my undies, not yours :rotfl:) so on a pence per wear, they'll cost you next to nothing in the end :D

Managed to go into town and not buy any food :D Oh, OK I bought some linseeds in Holland and Barrett? Does that count? Went to the library and got me and boys some more books, then did lots of window shopping - found some things and priced them up - will look on ebay etc to see if there's anything similar.

Just a question for you lot here. I haven't looked on any other boards about this for a while, so don't know if it's covered, but don't think so. When we scrape some cash together, I want to replace my hob and oven as they are laughably bad. How do I know how good they are. I don't want to pay more and find it's just as good as a cheap one, but I think what we have is one of those free oven/hobs sets that came with the kitchen we previous owners had it fitted. What makes one 4 ring gas hob any better than another - unless you buy it, try it and find out? And how do you know how good the oven/grill is? Anyone know of anywhere I can find out? I can't afford them yet - just want to do my research now. Cheers :)

Right, off to fetch DS1 from Beavers :D Have a good evening
