Is this something generally available, and if so, where would I find one please? :D ... I need to buy a carpet from them in the next few weeks ;)

trying to work but not getting much done :o

Having a few 'home issues' at the moment - OH thinks I'm spending too long online and not doing enough stuff at home - it's alright for him he can go on the internet whenever he likes at work I can't.

Anyway ended up going home early last night and did 2 loads of washing, cleaned kitchen, put clean clothes away and made lots of headway with the paperwork mountain, also took OH out to pizza hut -the glamour :o - know it's bad but no washing up and couldn't cope with another argument.

Trying to do as much on the internet now so I can go to the supermarket and continue clearing up/washing tonight - I will get on top of it. Need to get the skirts made for the show I'm in too.

Kiwichick - if you don't buy the mail newspaper coupons do well on ebay, I sold some sun ones on there, newsagents get extra handling charge for them so they often buy them to get all the money back from the paper.

Doing quite well with vouchers at the moment, recently had £8 of luncheon vouchers and a product to test from pinecone and £10 sainsburys voucher because they were badly stocked and customer services were rude so I emailed and complained. Looking forward to checking the post later now.

    Have a good day

Lamb stew smells delish:D have a friend coming for tea tonight so will add some dumplings about an hr before serving, he works in the city so dont think he will be here till 7'ish, but I would have eaten by then. OH will eat with him..LOL. HM rice pudding for desert.

OH has done the ironing this afternoon which SIL normally does (still not heard from her) and he's done a grand job:T

Was abit (well OH was)naughty today and bought a wireless thingy for me laptop as there are so many cables in my lounge and should look neater. Cost £30 inc VAT and delivery from ebay and the same on ebuyer was £40, so not too bad. Bought OH a nice sweatshirt using a voucher on here somewhere for £6 inc postage to put away for his birthday-Ralph Lauren normally £40 in the shops:eek: so NOT very money saving today Im afraid.

3 DVD's turned up from our 2 month free dvd trial with Blockbusters (charlie & choc factory, wolf creek and 40yr Virgin). Watched Wolf creek today and was quite good. Your allowed 3 at a time too. I get so bored at home.

Having a bad day healthwise today as every part of me hurting, covered in bruises from the steroids and warfarin..eeerrrrr. Have to go back up the hospital in the morning for more tests...so that will be rivetting(spelt wrongly i think.LOL)!!

OH has parents evening tonight and feel bad I cant get to it, but spoke with her teacher this morning and shes doing really well, so am pleased. Her attendance has been poor though since going back in September but she seems to get every bug going:rolleyes:

Anyways, best go as I need FOOD!!

Try asking on the techy board - they might well have an answer for you. Norton is notorious for not quite fitting in with various set-ups.

I have had a problem in the past with Norton causing a conflict with NTL, I keep saying that I am not going to use it again, this time I mean it!!!!!!!! I will find an alternative for next year.

    Zone Alarm.

I spent a fair bit of time hanging around on a microsoft support newsgroup and far fewer people saw problems with ZA than with NAV.

Anyway - do try the techies 'cos they're pretty darn good :)

  • House has turned into house of chaos this aft - kids seem to have taken happy pills or something as they are bouncing off the walls - the only person getting stressed is me so have decided to let them get on with it and just step over them unless they are actually in danger of killing themselves. Am off to make some homemade coleslaw and a chocolate cake - dont think that sounds very good together but you know what I mean

Like wot Yorkielass said. Thought I'd have a quick break on OS, gather my thoughts, and then start work again.....

With little 'un gone to my Mums til Sunday, it seems ..... very calm. Anyway, mustn't pine....

Had a quick whipround at lunchtime: mainly tidying, and hoovered downstairs. Put a load of laundry in, which is now out drying on airer. Ohhh, and I hunted out a pre-MSE Building Society pass book for an account which has very little in it. BUT, it has £20 more than I thought in it, so will close that account on Sunday, and put the £70 or so towards my debt repayment acceleration "plan".

Also, talking of which, am nearly ready to upload 12 lots to ebay: just need to wash, dry, and iron a medium-sized bundle of dd's clothes (will do after work), photo all items (tomorrow night) and upload (Friday, hopefully). So, I am on target to list my 2 dozen lots on ebay during Feb.

Shall be having a speedy Jacket spud, with baked beans and cheese for supper tonight, before shopping. Then, will hopefully settle down to watch The Last Samuri with oh - c/o 3 months DVD rental that I had for Christmas.

    Afternoon all :hello:

Another day in paradise! The children seem to have been very hyperactive today. Don't know what's wrong with them. Ah well, at least it's 2 days until the weekend. :)

The letting agents are coming round tomorrow night to do an inspection of our house. They pop in every 6 months, which is ok but also means that I need to do some vacuuming when I get home tonight! OH will be able to let them in and show them what's what - I hope!

We're having chicken stir fry tonight - with plenty of veggies eg broccoli, peppers, spring onions, carrots, mushrooms. In fact anything that I can find in the fridge at the time!

Better go and do some marking.
