    Hello everyone,
Another bad night for me as well last night (what is it with us OSers!!!) DS was up in the night going to the loo, then talking in his sleep. DD in with me, and felt the need to grab me anytime i moved away from her, i have enough trouble sleeping without the extra help!!!!
Hope the driving goes well today kiwichick, reminds me of when i was learning to drive, im sure the instructors like to make you feel nervous so you will have the extra leasons!!!
PP, i wouldnt worry about the extra help, its there for people who need it, ive an Aunt who has lupus, so i know how debilitating it can be (excuss the spellings!!!) ive been tested twice for it now (both negative) so feel very fortunate that i dont have it.
Anyway, just one little one here today, so we are going to go to Tescos, and maybe a look around the pet shop nearby, she love animals so that will be nice for her. WM on, just a bit of dusting and hoovering to do once we are back from the shops (after taking DS and DD to school) and then im going to attempt a recipe ive never tried before, thanks for the challenge Moggins!!!
Hope everyone has a good day, take care xxxx

    Morning all.

I have decided that I have the lasiest family in the country. Had my first OU tutorial last night (WOW!!!! I am going to like this course!!) and I come back to find no-one had bothered to wash up. The fact I had cooked CURRY and left it to them to sidh up and the attached smell meant nothing to them.

So I shut the kitchen door and refused to do it and went to bed. No-one is allowed in the kitchen this morning for breakfast until its cleaned up. And they are also all freezing as the windows are all wide open to get rid of the smell.

Anyone want to swap? One used husband, a bit worse for wear and doesn't even have his own teeth along with 4 female children who can look cute sometimes?????
    Anyone? Please?

So, MW is on and I will be making Lemon Chicken in Breadcrumbs tonight! First time, so will see how it goes!

Did a Tesco run after the OU last night and although it was 9.30, there was nothing in! A few loaves knocked down in price but that was it!!! Did buy some tinned furit though - to get the kids eating more and will make a flan in a minute for tonight.

Strawberries were on special at half price - so will make everyone a smoothie in a sec - mind you , the strawberries are not that nice. No taste to them so I can see why they were on special! I bought two lots to make jam with, but I can't - they really are that bland and tasteless. Out of season imports - should have known really.

Anyway, off to do a few little tidy up bits and will see you all later!

Hope today pans out okay for everyone!

    Morning all :hello:

hope you are all well today - hugs to those who need them

WM has towels, bath mat and shower curtain in - will empty when I get home
DW on and will be emptied when I get home also

Waiting on email from Scottish Power today - had message from them last night as I have a dispute with my meter - before Christmas they wanted to increase my DD from £65 pm to £236 pm  It seems that my meter may be faulty as I worked out that I should probably only be paying £35pm. It seems they have 47 days to get back to me - the 47th day is this Saturday - so tried to call the number the lady left and got some poor confused young man - wrong number - called the main number and she will get her to email me today - wanted my works number but I work in an open office and I was not discussing my private life in front of everyone. - will wait and see the outcome

    B - cereal
    L - ham sarnie
D - chicken fajitas (prepared last night)

Must go to production meeting now

    Will catch up later

    Have a good day all

    Take care

    Good morning everyone.

Just finished a month where I have worked almost triple my usual hours, am shattered. So today I plan to do absolutely nothing icon10.gif.

Good luck to those with hospital appointments etc. Big hugs to all who could use them.

Darn, just found the first flaw in my plan. I'm hungry so I have to get out of bed to go make toast icon9.gif (HM bread, remembered to put the BM on last night icon7.gif)

Have a lovely day everyone :A
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

    Morning :hello:

Can't stop and talk for long cos I've supposedly got a meeting, if the person I'm seeing ever turns up

Sorry people aren't sleeping well and are having "man taming trouble" :(

I had a not very MS evening yesterday involving a show, a pint of beer and a Burger King :o:o:o BUT it all turned around when I got home to find, waiting in my email, confirmation of SIX lots of freebie opera tickets, all for shows I would have definitely been prepared to pay for anyway :D:D Also, left to my own devices I'd have probably paid £15 each for the tickets and sat in the gods - this way I get to sit in the posh seats (which at full price are well over £50 ) and take a friend for free as well! Not bad, this reviewing lark! There was even the promise of a seventh, but I would have to go to Cambridge for that, so I'll see if I can justify the train fare. It would probably be worth it, as I've got a friend in Cambridge who would almost certainly like to go with me.

Right, got to get down to business - can't stay late at work today cos of tickets for a concert (not free, but not pricey either, and I've just remembered that the friend I'm going with still owes me his ticket money :D). Goodness me what a busy week I'm having. I do hope that all the yummy fresh veg in the bottom of the fridge is still edible tomorrow when I can do a casserole - it's the only chance I'll have to cook this week :o

Still no sign of promised relief from boss :( so am going to have words with the person who got my hopes up to see if there's been any progress.

    Rzl xx

GREAT TRUTHS THAT LITTLE CHILDREN HAVE LEARNED:

    1) No matter how hard you try, you can't baptise cats.
    2) When your Mum is mad at your Dad, don't let her brush your hair.
    3) If your sister hits you, don't hit her back. They always catch the second person.
    4) Never ask your 3-year old brother to hold a tomato.
    5) You can't trust dogs to watch your food.
    6) Don't sneeze when someone is cutting your hair.
    7) Never hold a Dust-Buster and a cat at the same time.
    8) You can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk.
    9) Don't wear polka-dot underwear under white shorts.
    10) The best place to be when you're sad is Grandpa's lap.

GREAT TRUTHS THAT ADULTS HAVE LEARNED:

    1) Raising teenagers is like nailing jelly to a tree.
    2) Wrinkles don't hurt.
    3) Families are like fudge...mostly sweet, with a few nuts.
    4) Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
    5) Laughing is good exercise. It's like jogging on the inside.
    6) Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fibre, not the toy.

    GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT GROWING OLD

    1) Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.
    2) Forget the health food. I need all the preservatives I can get.
    3) When you fall down, you wonder what else you can do while you're down there.
    4) You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.
    5) It's frustrating when you know all the answers but nobody bothers to ask you the questions.
    6) Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.
    7) Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes alone.

    THE FOUR STAGES OF LIFE:

    1) You believe in Santa Claus.
    2) You don't believe in Santa Claus.
    3) You are Santa Claus.
    4) You look like Santa Claus.

    SUCCESS:

At age 4 success is . . . not piddling in your pants.
At age 12 success is . . . having friends.
    At age 17 success is . . . having a drivers licence.
At age 35 success is . . . having money.
At age 50 success is . . . having money.
    At age 70 success is . . . having a drivers licence.
At age 75 success is . . . having friends.
At age 80 success is . . . not piddling in your pants.

Pass this on to someone who could use a laugh.

Always remember to forget the troubles that pass your way; BUT NEVER forget the blessings that come each day.

Have a wonderful day with many *smiles*
