I found the fittings for the bed!!! :j :j :j ... ex-OH had shoved them into one of the drawers so we wouldn't lose them LOL!

Bed is all made up now and it's actually starting to look somewhat like a bedroom in there now instead of a store room, although there's still a mountain of boxes stacked up at the far end to sort and unpack yet _pale_

Moggins - I'd definitely get the cavity wall insulation done and anything else such as draught-proofing the windows/doors and loft insulation if you can. Hopefully you'll qualify for it all to be covered by one of those wwarmfront grants if you're on disability benefit. I had a survey done at the flat, although I never went ahead to have it all done in the end as I was having a bit of a bad turn when they wanted the contractors to come do the work and I couldn't face it, but they were going to do it all free for me. Hopefully you'll see a huge reduction in your heating bills then too :D

Lillibet - just got your PM hun, thanks, will reply in a mo :)

PP - hope the hospital appt went ok for you :)

((((hugs)))) for anyone else that needs them today :A

Hi Yall Grumpy Pants:p Hope ya days get better

It's freezing cold here. My garden temperature dial says it's -10 that can't be right can it:confused:

Downstairs dusted and vacced. Washing on the airer and yesterdays irons and in family member groups on my bed awaiting being put away. Paid2clicks done (took ages, think my pc is on a go slow). Got a paid2click cheque through the post today for £40:j will pop out to cash that later.

Go to go to B&Q before school run to pick up some odd sized, difficult to find flourescent tubes which fit under my kitchen counters, need to pick up some starter too so the FBC may be blown before it has hardly begun.

Don't know what to make for dinner tonight cos Mrs MATH and mini MATH are eating out. Normally I would do something junky but can't think of anything under 7 WW points. Came out of church last night and the chinese was opening up:drool: (You have no idea how much willpower it took not to go in)

    Right off to B&Q it.

    B Porrige 2pts
L Lo cal soup and bread 4pts
    D Undecided
    S Cereal 3pts

    Have a good day

    Afternoon all

Having one of those days here today - DH is away which is always horrible.

Got a letter from tax credits telling me they've stopped my payments......they've put DH's income in - then said my income is the same and I work for the same company..aside from the fact that my income for that year was zero, I've not worked for the last 9 years.......I asked if they thought it was a little strange and why didn't they notice they'd cocked it up!!!......Will take a couple of weeks to sort so I'm going to have to pull the belt even tighter....isn't it always the way though..... 2 weeks ago we lost £37 a week from CSA as XH filled his forms out wrong...will take at least 2 months before that gets sorted.....so I'm now down £97 a week.....hmmmm beans on toast all round me thinks! Luckily we've got DH's income and I'd saved up nearly £700 towards this years council tax.....will tide us over until it all gets sorted.

Only one little one here today - been to a play center this morning so he's currently fast asleep.

Forgot to put the BM last night so it's crackers for lunch. Forgot to get anything out for tea tonight too, so I guess it will be pasta and whatever veg I can throw into a tin of toms. WM needs to go on, really need to sort DD's rooms out too - but it can all wait until tomorrow when I've got the day to myself.

Back from the hospital and have to go for a Vascular Ultrasound next wednesday and if blood clot still not gone, I'll have to have it removed as Ive been on the Warfarin for 6 months now and should have shifted it by now:eek:

Anyway, 2nd load in WM and 1st on airer as too cold to dry outside today. Lunch is in microwave (jacket spud and tikka masala). OH has gone to help his brother with something:confused:

Think I may have a bath later to warm me up abit, im so cold and going out this morning didnt help.

Catch up later. Have a great day everyone.

  • Afternoon all,

Hope wveryone is ok and hugs to thoses that are not.

I went back to work today and what a big mistake that was. DS was not up to going back to Pre-school and clung to me all morning.

Have just put a load of washing on and made a loaf of bread that is rising.

Have no bread for lunch so i cooked some pasta and found half a jar of pesto at the back of the fridge that i mixed in. I also did enough pasta so that i can mix some mayo and tuna in for DD tomorrow as packed lunch.

Have got gammon steaks and Baked Pots for tea.

    See you all soon

  • Afternoon all

This has to have been one of the worst weeks I had had in a long time. I had the day off work on Monday as I was feeling so ill and stayed in bed all day.

Tuesday I dragged myself to the doctors to finally sort out my referal to a CFS specialist, then popped into town for a few things with the help of OH and had to get a taxi home as I was so exhausted. I then dragged myself to panto rehearsal in the evening in a freezing cold school hall which made me feel worse than I already did.

I had two hours broken sleep on Tuesday night, I lay in bed freezing cold, sneezing and shivering and shakeing all night _pale_ I got out of bed at 8 as I was so fed up with laying there feeling rubbish. I had no appetite all day and spent most of the time on the net. Had a bath at about 4 and got ready for another rehearsal. I had a nasty head ache all night and really wished I could have stayed at home and got some rest.

I actually managed to sleep last night, probably something to do with the all ibuprofen, decongestant and cough medicine I took before bed ;) I woke up a few times but managed a good catch up from the previous night. I did wake up with a head ache still though, took some paracetamol but think its a migrain now  I have rehearsal and evening class planned for tonight and am wondering if I could just go into hibernation instead :D Then I have work tomorrow even though I am still not well.

I can't wait for this week to be over!!! I think this afternoon will be a few hours relaxation (interspersed with washing) a nice hot bath, a proper lunch and a bit of a read. Then maybe I will be able to face this evening.

I hope others are feeling well :grouphug: Hugs to those who are ill. I hope everyone has a good day, take it easy.

I dont mean to tell you how to live your life, but if you're suffering so much, surely panto is something you COULD let slip if you wanted to? Is it worth making yourself even more unwell for when it sounds as if you're struggling enough as it is? Obviously it's up to you and you know your circumstances best, but it looks to me like you're trying to do too much. Take it easy.

My husband works night now so I've got the whole bed for myself - might be worth suggesting it, you never know :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The only problem now is the two days he's in bed with me, i get so warm! (the temp not anything else!)

forgot to put the slow cooker on this morning to I'll have to do my casserole on the cooker top :wall:

I've also got the joy of helping DS1 with his eqyptian project for the next couple of week so I'm off to the library at the weekend.
