Morning everyone!
It's a bit wet where I am, but I don't have the heating on and it's not cold! This is good news indeed. Unfortunately, on the balance of life this good news is tempered by it being a Monday and it being a work day. Boo, hiss...can't stand the place...
Not too much to report just yet, no particular plans other than go to work, grin and bear it, then my english lit lesson tonight. I won't be home for the day until almost 10.00 pm. Will try and get another hour and a half's shuteye, though I am wide awake. Went to bed at 2.00 am so this isn't good, less than four hours sleep.
B - porridge, oat bran, raisin, pumpkin seed mix with skimmed milk and a cup of hot water and fresh lemon juice...have just had it, it was yummilicious!
L - will pop home, have a sausage casserole left from Saturday, so will have that along with some quick boil rice
D - urm...probably a sandwich of some description, don't have long to assemble an evening meal
Snacks - fruit, a home made pear/bran muffin per the GI book
Yesterday's steps: 8905. In case you missed it, there was a wee bit of chat in yesterday's diary about pedometers. As a means of mutual encouragement Shamichelle suggested that pedometer users put their daily steps on here. Hope nobody minds...it's not obligatory for anyone - though the more the merrier! My daily target is an average of 10000 - so have to try harder. Can't do a proper walk tonight as I won't have time, so will go for a long, long dander tomorrow after work to make up for it.
Cheerio everyone, hope you are all well and happy.

Morning!
Been awake for ages but not feeling too good. Its very damp here this morning and is killing me bones and joints:rolleyes: Plus, I have a sore throat and squirted it with throat spray...yuk!! OH has stayed awake with me, as I slept upstairs last night and couldnt get out of bed..LOL
Anyway, OH has put WM on (basket is now empty), he also emptied the DW and I cleaned the toilet.
Have promised DD that we will go to reptile shop today(shes after a bearded dragon) and will pop into Asda after (theres one right next door). Im hoping I will be OK, but i think if i wrap up and OH pushes me in wheelchair-I should be OK. The fresh air will be nice. Also, in Aldis-need to get 10 white loves (lovely and at 25p), 4 tins of beans, cheddar, bacon, tinned sweetcorn, but will get OH to run on there, as there not wheel chair friendly really. Have a Freeview box that needs to be taken back to Asda and said we would treat DD to Nanny Mcphee on DVD as its been released today.
Also, have 3 ebay parcels needing sending. Cheques paid in the bank and a few other small errands.
SIL not coming again today-more problems! Ive had enough of it all, so am going to start looking for someone for 5hrs a week to help with the ironing and a few odd jobs around the house.
Breakie:Egg, bacon, sausage, beans, mushroom, grilled tom, hash brown and toast.
Lunch:???
Dinner:Round friends for supper
Will catch up later. Have a great day and hugs to all who need one.

Morning!
I havent got the heating on either this morning and the flat doesnt seem cold - but I think mine is more to do with the boyf still being awake at 7am. He KNEW he was finding a job this week an he KNEW how important it is (ha - parents have cut funding so he has to get a job now) so he promptly ruins his sleeping pattern.
To be fair - he has just mentioned jobs etc so it is a certainty that it will happen, its just that he is still awake when he should be asleep.
Anyway - work today, hm pink coconut muffins (cherry) the softest hm bread ive produced so far for lunch with the remains of yesterdays chicken in it and a hm mini quiche, and dinner this evening will be something simple.
Have a good day all! (Im so tired - I need another day off)

Morning everyone,
Well its half term here so I have the pleasure of both children this week so just having a bit of me time whilst they are still asleep and O/H has just gone on his merrry way.
Had a lovely day yesturday as my mum came and took the children out for the day so I was treated to my lunch by O/H as an early valentines pressie, 2 courses £9.95 each and I had a voucher from the local paper so we got a bottle of wine free.
Need to take DD to get her feet measured this morning as shes complaining her boots hurt so looks like another pair is in order, her current ones are still in really good condition so at least I might to be able to recoupe some of the monies by selling them on Ebay.
Bedding needs to be washed today so hopefully it will stay fine enough outside then its not hanging around in doors.
Breakie: porridge for the troops
Lunch: Sarnies
Dinner: Chicken & mushroom pie (think i've got one lurking in the freezer ), veg & spuds
Have a lovely day, will pop back later

~ uploads an all-body warm wheat bag for PP to snuggle in while she's outside ~
Wouldn't it be great if you could really get all-body sized warm wheat bags? I'd have one, for sure. Mind you, I'd probably never get a look-in, as between DH and dog no.2 (who are all chilly creatures) they'd probably be in it!
Having just let Jonty (dog no.2) out into the garden, I can attest to how mild it is outside. Mild and damp - that'll get the spring bulbs popping up! Unfortunately we have the heating on - DH has psoriasis which affects his ability to regulate his own temperature, so the rest of us cook so that he can stay warm. Not much we can do about it, really.
Had a good OS day yesterday, although I seemed to spend it cooking!Still, we now have a selection of goodies in the freezer, which will make meal planning a bit more interesting for the next week or so.
DH and DS are off swimming this afternoon, so that will give me a chance to catch up on my peace and quiet quota.
Have a good day, one and all.
B : cereal & banana
L : h/m bread sarnies of some kind
D : sausage lumps (sausagemeat & stuffing mixed into balls and baked), mash (with sweet potato) and b.beans.:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -

Good morning everyone
We actually had some rain yesterday, and it looks quite wet today, too, although its not raining at the moment.
I don't have any plans for today yet, but I know DS wants to do some candle making so we may do that. It's just such a messy business!
I need to do some exercises today, as it's my keep fit group tonight & I have done very little last week cos I didn't feel well at all - had no energy whatsoever.
Have a good day all of you0 -
Just read yesturdays daily tread and wanted to say:
johanne: Hope you had a better night, I rang our local crime prevention officer and he came armed with alarms that fitted all my windows and doors. They are really loud and very sensitive and when O/H is working away it give me a bit more peace of mind.

 Morning everyone,
Half term here too,3 kids underfoot all week.I don't go in for exciting holiday- type activities for my kids during school hols.So nothing special planned, any shopping trip is bound to end in an argument about buying something.Think we'll just hang out at home making sure we go for a walk every day.A few necessary errands will be done but that's it.
The one thing I'm going to do is get dd a doctor's appointment(hopefully today) to review her allergies. I want her tested for specific nuts and the degree of likely reaction if that is possible. She hasn't had a reaction to nuts since she was 21 months(she's 6 next month)so I'm wondering just how allergic she is.My mum has a friend who's son is allergic to nuts, and he's been told by a consultant that his allergy is such that he need not worry about the 'may contain nuts ' warnings on packaging. This is what I'm hoping for
Uh oh dd has just discovered that she can't get Nickjr on the telly anymore(no Sky now).I thought she had graduated to CBBC.She's got a hacking cough this morning so I'm definitely ringing the docs'.0
