It's the best time of the day ...
Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -
the sun is on its way
isn;t it strange - everyone who has lots of people around them, who they can look after and be appreciated for what they do, crave a little bit of quiet time for a cup of tea and putting their feet up.
and those who have all the time in the world to themselves to do what they want crave a few people around them.

The grass always seems greener on the other side doesn't it?
I'm usually at work by now so just because I don't have to be in work so early doesn't mean that my body realises this which is why I'm up now.
Think I might go back to bed for an hour.0 -

Morning all,
I don't normally see this time on a sunday morning...It's amazing that the rumours are true - it really does exist.
Wet and dark here this morning, typical as I washed the car yesterday.
Off out to my parents for the day to day, first time I've seen their new house.
No cooking, no cleaning, no OS of any kind today, I shall just shut my eyes to it all and worry about it tomorrow.....can you tell what sort of mood I'm in?
Hope you all have a good one, and Graham....if you want a bit of company I can lend you a grumpy cat who woke me up with his snoring last night....no? your loss!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Hiya to all,
Just have come upstairs from poisoning. The weeds that is.DD & I went to the movies this morning to watch Walk The Line. It was so good. Loved every minute of it. So did DD. Take tissues as there are a couple of sad parts. Well I found it a bit weepy. Not too sure what I'm having for tea tonight, and it's 6.10pm.
Fish & Chips sound good don't they.
Awful humid day again, hopefully it will be better tomorrow as I need to clean the house out & do some shopping. Wash & iron & generally get everthing up to date. I also need to cook a few meals for DH & DD as I will be away on Wed for a week. :jI suppose I better go and find DH and *suggest* some tea ideas.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning all!
I quite agree with those who say the early morn is the best part of the day. I find that if I get up early and do all the little things, that saves oodles of time later in the day when everything I try to do is punctuated by DS demanding my attention. I don't begrudge him my attention, by the way, but it just makes everything take ten times as long as it should!
Well, the worms lived to squirm another day, as I got pressganged into taking DH and DS to the Games shop and thence onwards to Aldi on an exploratory mission. Don't think we'll be going back to Aldi in a hurry - most things were priced competitively with Asda and we came out with a big jar of lime marmalade and a waste paper bin for DS's bedroom. Still, at least I know where it is, just in case any really good deals show up on the grapevine.
Its pouring with rain here today, so the worms are going to remain undisturbed today as well.
The BM is on, as is the WM and wonder of wonders, I found the bottom of the dirty washing basket, last night! Haven't seen that since last summer! See what a good influence you are on me. :rotfl: Hoovered our bedroom yesterday, I would have done DS's, but I couldn't find the carpet under the bits of dismembered Bionicle. The kitchen, puter room and bathroom will need doing today, as I expect much floor decoration from muddy dog paws. Oh well, at least they blot the worst off before prancing all over the pale green carpet upstairs in the sitting room! :T
Its hubby's four week anniversary of giving up smoking, so DS and I have planned to deliver breakfast in bed as his reward. I'd better go and get busy with some bacon and egg!
Have a lovely Sunday, whatever you find yourself doing. Hugs to all.:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -
Morning all
Graham I can lend you two kids that never shut up if you like?
I'm amazed, it's nearly 8.30 and no one is up but me, lovely!! It's drizzling with rain outside and my back is killing me after yesterday and for some reason my whole mouth seemed to be suffering from toothache? I don't care though, I made myself a coffee and went outside to survey the work we did yesterday. My garden looks huge and I have doubled my growing space. I've also worked out that if I move the benches and chiminea that I can put DD's outdoor toys on the patio instead and I can still have room for my chickens
I'm just warming up now and then I have to make soup out of the remains of last nights stew and put the BM on. DH earned £35 last night so that is going straight in the bank on MondayOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things
