Kiwichick - you musn't give up. My sister has done about 7 tests now, each time failing on something stupidly minor, which sounds like you,
me on the other hand passed first time (just - god knows how, with 14 minor faults - if you get 15 you fail). Then 3 months later, wrote off my car in an accident where i lost control. (In my defence, because i went from not driving at all to driving 70 miles a day via the motorway)
As i keep telling my sister, you will be a lot more experienced driver for having had the extra lessons, and will be less likely to have an accident.
Just don't give up. I know its a huge expense, but if you were to give up now it would be money totally wasted.
Enjoy your wine, and don't feel too down,
Michelle, x0 -
Awwwww (hug) Kiwi, the best drivers never past first time, don't give up.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

Oh Love (((((((Kiwi)))))))
Dont be too hard on yourself - took me 5 goes to finally passI was just too nervous the times before, and wasnt really ready to do it. Enjoy your chocolate and your wine, and take consolation from the fact that ALL the best drivers fail first time (as officially told to me by my last driving instructor who only took me through the test I passed, so wasnt even just saying that to be nice!!).
I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0 -

, reversed around a corner too wide and my rear wheels went over the white center lines. Am consoling myself with a picnic bar and bottle of wine (kindly "donated" by dh's office party at xmas).
Awwww, I'm so sorry to hear that.I was too late to wish you good luck, but just in time to offer a consolation hug!

As an added thought - my mum swore by taking Kalms before her test - if its stress, can you use some sort of esssential oil on your pulse points next time to ease you??
It is a horrible nerve wracking experience isn't it.0 -
AWWWWh KC - never mind and never give up. When I failed there was a whole group of girls waiting at home with a bottle of champagne for me, they were so positive I was going to pass - never felt less like admitting failure than that day.
Second time around DH told me I would never pass - something clicked in my head and I sailed through the whole test just to prove him wrong.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
