    I'm back again! :D

I've been busy this morning! As soon as I got in from school I started on the housework instead of switching the computer on :p So far :
    • Towels out on the line
    • Dishes washed
    • Masterbedroom wallpaper fixed (about 2ft of it had peeled up due to the damp in that corner. Now it just needs to be repainted where the paint has snapped off  )
    • BOTH bedrooms Hoover/dust/tidied
    • Bathroom clean with clean towels
    • Mildew in bathroom and bedroom removed
    • Bathroom hoovered (we have carpet because it is SO COLD in there when its just lino)
    • Glade's "Shake-n-Vac" on the stairs waiting to be removed (I also did the bedrooms & bathroom with it - used an entire tub!)
    Still to do :
    • Stairs hoover/sweep & dust rails etc
    • Livingroom
      • Clean out fire
      • Hoover suite & downsides of bookcases etc where I can't get a brush
      • Sweep rest of floor
      • Dust
    • Kitchen
      • Wash dinner dishes
      • Sweep/hoover floor
      • Put all the dishes away
      • Put cleaning clothes on to bleach
    • Ironing
    • BATH :D
Better go and get on with it. Might try to sweep outside but there is so much rubbish blowing up and down the street I don't think its worth it! Might just wipe down the window sill and top of the bin with a damp cloth instead to at least try and make the front look presentable even if the door looks a disgrace!

  • Hello Everyone,

Had a good day yesterday, church first thing, then DD's spent the afternoon at their grandparents, so I planted lots of seeds whilst they were not around. 7 different types of flowers, (including sweet peas, my fave :D ) rocket, herbs, some cress for the windowsill, repotted my strawbs and garlic. Goodness knows where all the seeds came from, and its a bit hit and miss as this gardening larks a bit new to me, Im keeping everything crossed that they grow! Had lovely tea - beef in sc, with pots, yorkies, carrots and cabbage, and apple pancakes for afters (I cheated, they were Aldi's) :shhh:

OH has now departed these shores for a few days, I hate it when he is away as I cant sleep, DD2 has already decided she is sharing my bed, but I will put a stop to that one! At least I can eat what I like when OH is not here, so have changed the menu planner accordingly.

So far today, I have cleaned and tidies upstairs and done a couple of loads of washing, but need to get a move on, as the downstairs needs doing, DW needs emptying, washing to split between airers and TD etc.

    B - weetabix
Elevenses - banana and apple juice
L - 1/2 fat cheddar and salad sandwich on wholemeal, grapes
    D - hm veg lasagne.

(I can post my meals today 'cos they're healthy!)

P_P I hope you manage to sort the headaches,
MATH Im glad you are sounding a bit perkier, I hope Mrs MATH is feeling better too.

Hello to anyone else I've forgotton.

    GOOD LUCK KIWICHICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sending you goodluck vibes Kiwichick and hoping there are no nutters on the roads around you today.

Hugs to those who aren't feeling great - haven't been around much this weekend too many other things to do at home but catching up in my lunch break now ;)

Proud as we've been pretty OS this weekend, almost on top of the washing (although we did TD OH's tshirts last night due to lack of drying space in our little flat :o), lots of cleaning happened and I made Chicken and Pasta bake on Saturday and then yesterday we had Lamb cooked in the slow cooker, first time we've done this and was lovely - especially when we got back from our rehearsal and opened the door - the smell was gorgeous.

Left over chicken and pasta bake tonight so that's easy, need to finish the sewing for the costumes I'm doing (spent Friday night and most of Saturday doing them) tonight and keep an eye on the money situation etc etc. Plan to list some more things on Amazon and might put some more things on Ebay too.

Must get on with some work - sending lots of hugs (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))

Good Luck Kiwi!!! Keeping everything crossed for you love!

Very very tired today. DH decided he wanted to watch the Superbowl so came to bed at 3.10 this morning  !!! Obviously that woke me up, he dropped straight off to sleep, whilst I lie awake listening to him snore (beers whilst watching the game!!!!) with my to do list for the office buzzing round my head. Why??? At least he was nice enough to let me sleep in this morning, and only woke me at 9.30 with the offer of a cuppa :D . His life wouldnt have been worth living if he'd got me up at 8.00 as normal!!

Put the BM on last night and made a scrummy softgrain loaf - first time in about 3 1/2 months!!! Went through a phase at the beginning of my pregnancy when the smell of the fresh bread made me feel so sick!! Thank goodness that now seems to have passed. I'd forgotten how filling it is though.

Sorry to hear your money worries Math. It's horrid when you literally dont know where your next penny's coming from. What is it that Mrs Math does - is it an area she could set up her own business in? There are all sorts of start up grants available, and it might give her some confidence in her abilities back. You might also find you could do some of the same sort of bits I do for DH (answering phones, invoicing custs etc) to keep the costs down but to maximise potential. Working with DH has been a life saver for me, as it's given me a salary (a small one, but enough to just cover my bills) at a time when there's no way I could have gone out to work for anybody else. Worth a thought at least?? Anyway - hugs to you both, and keep talking. You can get through anything if you keep your faith, and if you keep the communication open between you. Please pm me if you want any help with anything.

Hugs to everyone else. I'm off to get some lunch and crash on the sofa for half an hour!!
I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle
