Morning all
Sorry to hear you are feeling so bad this morning PP, I hope the day improves for you?
Posh - Good luck to your DH for his interview - I used to feel like a cat on hot bricks when DH was going for his last year and he wasn't even out of work, just trying to get out of a horrible job.
Busy day for me, I have loads to do around the house whilst I'm waiting for the courier to come and collect the TV, then as soon as it's gone I want to clean the carpets all the way through. I'd better fish something out for tea this morning otherwise I shall get distracted and forget all about itOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Well, DS was coughing all night, but luckily stayed asleep, so he is ok this morning, i on the other hand have a head that feels like it wants to explode!!!! Still trying to get DD out of bed, she is only 7, but is like a 16 year old were her bed is concerned (well, my bed, she still gets in with me most nights!!!)
Have 3 little ones here today, but we are going to attempt a visit out this morning, to visit a friend and her son, so a military type operation being organised with all the different things i need to take with me. Its only for about an hour, but will be nice for all the little ones to do something different!!!
The WM is on, lovely new BM made a lovely loaf last night, so very happy about that and i just have to go and make DS and DDs packed lunch and then thats it until i get back from friends later.
I hope everyone has a lovely day, take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning all
Not read the thread through yet as I have to get on with sorting out DD for school, so I'll read later while I'm having my lunch
Anyways, plan for today is to clean the house top to bottom. I've been putting it off all of last week because of the builders coming. They eventually showed up at 10.30 Saturday morning (he originally said he wanted to come at 9.30 but there was no way we would be up and sorted by then!) and they have made a right mess of the front door! Our landlady came around on Saturday night to have a look and she is not happy so it looks like we'll be getting another new front door
DD is shouting that she wants the toothpaste so I better go. LatersCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

(just realised you both have the same initials, hence the hyphen to distinguish Penny-Pincher from PoshPaws!)Yes, I realised that might be a problem when I arrived! lol People on other boards often refer to me as just "Posh", so maybe that'd do the trick and be less confusing!
In truth, you can call me just about anything except late for breakfast. :rotfl::hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -

Morning.....:) (too tired for a jumping smilie this morning
)
DS2 has had a really bad tummy upset this weekend (I'm not too bothered whrere it came from as small boys seem to spend their lives picking up things off the floor and eating them) However, he came in to me at 2.10am, complained about a griping timmy and went back to sleep. Me - got up at 3.15 as couldn't get back to sleep
Was going to be industrious and clean leather suite, but ended up just lying on said suite with toasted teacakes and warm milk and catching up on the progs I'd video'd last week.) Did make DS1's packed lunch tho.
Anyway - DS1 off to school and DS2 watching tv. Will have a slow and lazy day, but will venture out later on, maybe to Lidl as have no fresh veg left after huge meal yesterday. Need to put WM on again and hang up wet stuff. Still looks a grey day here so radiators it will be.
Oooooh - the system works - just had my "your credit card 0% period will finish in 6 weeks time" email - telling me to visit some site called moneysavingexpert.com :rotfl:
Anyway - think I'll make lasagne for tea. I'll probably make myself a veggie one because I just loved the one I made the other week. The men-folk will get a meaty one.
So, hugs and good luck vibes to those in need. My head's not functioning properly yet - sorry if I've missed anything out
Have a good day, and Jo, good job you didn't go sick today. Today is apparently the day when most people go off sick:) Do you think I could have a duvet day as well? Would DS2 understand0 -
Morning all
(((((hugs))))) to all those that need them.
Children are in assembly and the classroom is ready for the rest of the day (no marking as yet....................), so I thought I'd quickly pop on here and say hi.
I can't wait until this weekend as we're going to the Lake District for the whole of half term. Bliss! I'm going to take a stack of reading books to the cottage that we've hired and plan to get through all of them, in between walking and shopping. Perfect. OH is taking his mountain bike with him, so that'll be at least one day of shopping alone for me (or window shopping, looking at my bank balance).
WM was put on when I left for work. OH did all the ironing last night whilst I was doing planning. Bless. House quite tidy, but we need to do some financial filing!
b - cereal
l - sandwich and yoghurt
d - cod fishcakes (yellow sticker), new potatoes and steamed veggies.
See you later
