My day started quite well today, managed to get rid of my headache, DS and DD went to school nicely, and had a lovely morning with my friend and her son. Problem started as we attempted to go home for lunch, put my handbag and keys on the front seat, went to put the first child in the car when i heard a beep, and my car keys had locked the car without me touching it!!!! The only good thing was that none of the children were in the car, and luckily my friend is a member of the RAC and was able to call them out on my behalf. So this afternoon, im looking into the breakdown services!!!! They were very good, they got to us in 30 minutes, and had the door open in 5, so able to get home and give little ones their lunch before they got too hungry (although lovely friend did offer to cook for them). Dont really want to join the RAC tho, as ex partner is an RAC man, and i know what hes like, and heaven forbid if he turned up if i ever broke down!!!!
Little ones now asleep, so i have half an hour before i wake them and then go on the school run. Then making our roast beef, as i didnt do it yesterday, so looking forward to that!!!
Hugs to anyone who need them xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Good luck KC, may the road rise to meet you :)

YippEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, the duff telly is finally gone from my living room and I have hoovered the whole carpet. It's amazing how much room we have now.

My head hurts now, after working out Feb/March's cash flow and budget, but I'm proud of myself because with a bit of judicious secretly stashing away of bits of money here and there, plus making cutbacks and money savings where we can, yet another month's rent goes out and yet another month appears to be achievable.

Of course, all the workings-out would have been done a lot more quickly if I hadn't have had to drive to the next town to get hoover bags for DH, who decided he would repair the broken hoover (successfully! :T ) and then use it ( :T :T ), but one mustn't look a gift husband in the mouth when he decides to do some housework. :D

I'm going to do some washing up. For light relief. :A ~chuckle~
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:

kiwi - GOOD LUCK with the driving test!

frey - GOOD LUCK with giving up smoking, and with the weight loss (same goes for everybody else that's trying to lose weight! Me included :o and it doesn't help when I don't actually know my weight - I think my scales are broken cos I certainly used to be about 11st7lb at least, and clothes are no looser so I don't think much has changed, but my scales reckon I'm 10st 9lb...)

Horrid dull day, out this morning for a while, chicken casserole in the slow cooker for supper, not really doing anything except catching up on the posts,

Need to do some forward planning DD2, dgd & dgs due next week for lunch, its half term here........what to give them for lunch, both children are allergic to lactose so no milk related products, might do a cottage pie and a fruit jelly with swedish glass for dessert.

OH has a bowls meeting tonight so we have to have an early supper.......will have the casserole with rice for a change.

Out at my friends tomorrow morning, will have to sort out a load of washing for the machine, the bin is overflwoing onto the bathroom floor......its bed changing and towel week too......Wednesday will be clean up day..........

Off to do a bit more at my cushion covers.

    Kiwi-Chick: Good Luck hun!!!

Thanks for all the lovely comments and hugs....you guys are so sweet.

GP came out to see me at lunchtime and said Im dehydrated-dont know how this can be as I drink at least 2ltrs of water a day:confused: Also, some blood tests had come back bad last week so thought this was a great time to jab me with a needle (1 for pain relief the other calcium-apparently very low)....i hate needles!! Then the best bit was when he told me that on wednesday, when I have to get up hospital for 8am for some special vascular ultrasounds.....I have to have a drip put up with vitamin/nutrients and an iron infusion.....lucky me as my livers not working properly:mad: I have to be back home by 12 as I have a surveyor coming with my OT to talk crip bathrooms and what they can offer or cant.......somebody killllllllllllll meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee nnnnoooowwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a brighter note, my SIL came today and we didnt mention the argument and we both got on as if nothing had happened. I think she felt a little guilty though, as I look like a ghost today and she could see i was in pain. She did me ironing, the cupboard fronts, inside a double cupboard and polished the lounge and blinds for me.....shes a good un really. Also, OH bought me my fav coronation chicken baguette and I scoffed the lot:o

OH has managed to do a few hrs on his course today, and after picking DD up from school he is going to PO to send ebay parcels off, go to the bank and get a few bits from Tescos with some vouchers that need using.

Ive made 2 lasagnas (1 for freezer) and padded it out with a tin of beans as we have one of OH's mates for tea tonight so needed it stretched...LOL. Washing all dry and havent done much else really...I feel like a right lazy cow and am still in PJ's. OH has bought me quilt down as I refuse to put fire on with the 25% increase on gas looming.

MATH-Glad your feeling a little better and Mrs MATH. Please send them my love and a HUGE HUG.

Anyways, Id best go as I want to watch the rest of The Constant Gardner which I started watching last night and finish lasagna. Having it with HM chips......scrummy.

    Take Y'all.

Just a pre dinner quickie;) :p to wish Kiwi belated good luck on her driving test. I'm sure you don't need luck on your side but maybe your examiner does:rotfl: Have a smashing time!

PP Your day doesn't sound as tho it has improved much sorry you are in so much pain and having all these probs. Good news about SIL tho, Least said soonest mended is sometimes the best policy. I'm glad ya both sorted.
Those adapted bathrooms are great but if the adverts are to be believed you can only use them while wearing a full piece bathing suit. So don't think you and Mr PP can go soaking in the noddy cos ya can't;) :D

I FAILED :( , reversed around a corner too wide and my rear wheels went over the white center lines. Am consoling myself with a picnic bar and bottle of wine (kindly "donated" by dh's office party at xmas).
