Hi Yall, Phew! who said weekends were for resting? I'd like on of those kinda Saturdays please. LOL

Up and paid2clicking by 7:30, Mrs MATH and the MATHLETTS out to gymnastics by 9:00.

Since then two MATHLETTS have been despatched to Grandma's and the older MATHLETT employed cutting down some of the front garden with Mrs MATH supervising. Leaving me to make a sausage casserole for tonights dinner (now in SC), 2 dozen chocolate cakes for tomorrows Church lunch, and soup and HM bread for the gardeners when they come in for lunch.
Just to make sure I wasn't bored I've also dashed off two hours worth of bedlinen ironing and put away. Stuck another wash on, emptied the DW and vacced the whole house from top to bottom on account of MATHLETT comming in with muddy shoes on! LOL

I got a gym badge to sew onto Achievement Towel, nip to Argos to pick up a new catalogue, pop into Primark for some more jimjams (I was cold last night in me shorties) and think up something for tonights pudding. Other than that I can take it easy. LOL

    Happy Birthday RCHDDPA1

Hugs to all in pain and those who cannot sleep

Hope you manage to enjoy the party PP

JW You vixen - cover up girl. LOL

Queenie Nice to see a post from you

Moggins Hope all goes well at the ossy with DS

Pooky No I wouldn't want to be 10 again. Give me a good book and a quater of wine gums over sweaty palms and spotty chops anyday. LOL

Tootles is back in the land of the living again (YAY)

Aussie I love macadamia nuts to be by calorie restrictions won't allow them, nuts, choccy, cheese and wine. I MISS THE ALL - SOMEBODY PLEASE FEED ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Nicki I don't know what to say, how terrible. Do you have friends and family near by? When I was a kid we had a peeping tom and the my DAD worked nights so my Mum was pretty upset as you can imagine. The police were pretty useless so my Dad sorted in with a bit of 2by4 if you know what I mean. Turn out it was an off duty copper:eek:

With that I shall leave you. Have a good day

  • Good Afternoon!

Didnt realise that was the time thought it was about 11!!!

Never mind have got a bit done today, dusted all rooms downstairs, cleaned kitchen/laundry room. Swept downstairs, 2 loads of washing done & cooked a fry up brunch. Chilling now with my sweats on (hope noone knocks at door) surfing then think will make some everyday biscuits then play Stars Wars Monoply with the children. (Only if I can be princess Leah).

Math - you make me tired just reading your posts - you are definately a good time manager - do you find when your holiday home opens that you are extra busy mon-fri - we do and seem to be playing catchup all the time but it is definately worth it for the relaxing weekends.

OH has promised to make carrot and corriander soup, after we got some carrots from the grocer. However, he's still sitting next to me reading the paper  :D He also managed to dispose of the browning bananas into the bin - until I went mad and fished them out cos I need to make a banana loaf. Luckily there was nothing else in the bin, otherwise I'd have withdrawn any morals...... Moi? High-maintenance? :D

By the way, the friends that stayed over last night couldn't quite believe it when we said that we only spend £30 a week on food (ish). They spend £60 to £70 and can't understand why we've got it down this low. Obviously, I bandied around the old MSE name as ever. :D So, thanks to everyone on this site who have helped us become competitive, frugal and healthy. I'm still waiting to lose weight though..... I will weigh myself tomorrow morning again and fingers crossed my weight will go down......... PLEASE?

Well, DD is on sofa with the "puke bowl". She is as white as a sheet and although she hasnt been sick yet she feels sick. OH has just taken down Quiche, Carrot cake and pizzas to his folks house for the party. Already problems....stupid BIL (the total tw*t one)was asked to move the curries from the car to the kitchen and he dropped...them all:confused: so they are cooking curries down there now-so definitly not eating...LOL.

Going to have a bath in the next hr and will get DD in there too and see if she feels better after, if not, I'll stay at home with her or if shes OK, we will just go down for half hour.

Update.....she has now puked gallons...sorry...got to go.

    Hello everyone :hello:

Not a lot done in the House of Mouse yet :D Not a fab night's sleep - DS1 was in with me from 1.30 and DS2 kept coughing himself awake. So, had a lazy start then took them both to the library, where we read lots and DS1 found there were PC's he could play on. Also, because they c0cked up our dvd rental charges, they've let us have another one free - in conjunction with the 3 for 2. So, 4 dvd's for £4. The boys have one each and I have the 2 :D I've got Meet the Fockers and Schindlers List -will have to see what sort of mood I'm in before I decide which one to watch :)

Going to do some general hoovering and dusting this afternoon whilst the boys fight over the dvds :D I have promised them an ice cream in a cornet - WITH sprinkles, but they had better be on best behaviour for that! Did all my ironing last night, but have got another load to take out of WM in a minute. Dw needs unpacking too. Tea will be something simple like sausages and mash, so no great preparations there.

Ok - time waits for no man (or domestic engineer :D)

Happy birthday RCHDDAP1, and (((hugs))) to moggins, nicki and PP's daughter. :)

I've been sooo jammy I just had to post and brag about it. LOL

I popped into Home Bargains and snaffled the last pair of size S long legged jimjams. Was £5.99 reduced to £3.99:j Paid and left the shop, looked down and saw a £5 note blowing down the street. Picked it up but no one was about to ask if they had dropped it so I kept it and did a little dance. So I got me jimjams for free and I'm £1 quid up. (YAY)

Well we sent a few photos to my family member who you could say has a thing with cars....in his own words "rest in peace". So its not looking too hot. Turns out the only way we can get a curteosy car is if the other bods insurance company pays for it. This is a rather large pain in the proverbials....as I generally drive to work. From one place in the middle of nowhere to another (about 1 hour away).

Still waiting for the garage bods to contact us about what to do with it. And we've now got to wait to see if the other insurance lot do the 'honourable' thing by taking responsibility.

I'm hoping that the boss will let me work from home for a bit, but I've had no word as yet. Still worried that it will affect our no claims....but the fact that I was hit from behind should give me all the leverage that I need and I definately was not reversing....just checking the roundabout before driving off again.

Anyhow, for the moment all I can do is keep everything crossed and hope that it all works out okay.
