have not done much. I managed to sleep till 10 today, yet was still exhausted when i got up. I went to the drs yesterday, and he is now putting it down to depression, although i still think there may be another medical reason. I've been referred for some councilling, so i'll see how it goes, but if there is no improvement i will hassle him again for some more tests. I'm bound to be depressed having been ill for 4 months with no explanation.

we had a good tidy up of the house on tuesday night as DH invited a friend round unexpectedly, so wehad a joint whizz round.

i need to stick the BM on, but then i think i might do some cross stitch. My sister bought 4 small kits to do for her little boys room, but she doesn't know how to do it. I need the practice as i have bought a larger kit, and i haven't done any in years. I've done quite a bit over the past couple of nights.

i've plans for salmon for tonight. Got some bargain new potatoes at half price from Somerfield, as well as packs of ham BOGOF. Will have to take a trip to the ASDA though this weekend as we are running low on a lot of things.

NO snow here - just rain, and the cats are moping around looking out of the windows as it will be the third day they haven't gone out. I guess i will have to put up with them running about the house again.

hope you all end up having an ok day. My thoughts are with PP and Powie at the hospital.

Mrs MATH is out for dinner tonight and I'm really having to fight the urge not to cook something quick and junky for me and the kidz (I know it should be the kidz and I but it always sounds so pretentious:D )

Actually - it should be " the kidz and me" ;)

Erm - tea. I'd quite fancy the stir fry but only cos I haven't had one in eons :D (But then I'm not invited so I'll just have to eat my own bodyweight in roast chicken dinner ;))

  • Didn't manage on yesterday. Was at work then went food shopping afterwards. By the time we had our evening meal after both boys were put to bed I finally got a chance to get on the pooter. But felt it was to late to post on daily thread by that point

Well, WM on with a 2nd load. Unfortunately Ist load hung on the airer but it's drizzly outside. Not much time for housework this morning by the time I walked DS1 to nursery (then walked back to collect him!) but whilst DS2 was napping managed to get on the treadmill for a quick session. So all in all lots of WeightWatchers BPs earned at least! Have done the dishes and pulled all the beds up but plan to get stuck in about the ironing this afternoon :(

Am going to have a go at the baked potatoes that I've read about on here. Loaded Skins I think they're called. Going to scoop out the flesh and mix them with tuna & sweetcorn mayo I think then stuff 'em back in! Looking forward to them

    Have a good one everyone!

    Hello all,

Well, it's stopped snowing here :( DD will not be happy.

Feeling a lot brighter today, I think I must be on the mend :j . Only taken one lot of painkillers this morning :j

One of the side effects of yesterday and how cruddy I was feeling meant that I went to Boots and stocked up on vits, echinacea and cranberry tablets (3 for 2 and a voucher to boot y'know).

Tootles - Cystitis, def no fun. I have had some dreadful times with this. Lots of water, no caffeine, no orange juice, but cranberry juice and tablets seem to do the trick for me.

PP - Hope the day hasn't been as hellish as you imagined.

I've made the first cuts into DD's material, but now need to hide it before I pick her up at 3.

Tree surgeons are back cutting my trees, so a mixture of sawdust and snow here, LOL.

Math - I'd go for the stirfry cos it sounds yummy.

    B - Weetabix
S - HM Blueberry muffins, question is .. will there be any left for DD by the time I pick her up ... *blush*
L - HM Blueberry muffins and coffee
D - SC pork and butterbean casserole

O/S - Not a lot, I'm working. Nappies are drying on the airer. WM awaiting DH's return this evening!

MATH my vote is for stir-fry!

Our veggie lasagne was gorgeous last night. Just as well because we've got the other half tonight! I think next time I'll put more veggies in. OH actually quite liked it - even the aubergine that he "doesn't like". Hmmmmm.....

I'm working from home this afternoon, but I'm just about to pop into town to get some meat from the butcher. Well, I say meat but I MEAN bacon for bacon sarnies on Saturday :D I'll get some other meat on Saturday, but as we've got friends staying on Friday night they'll need bacon sarnies.

It was snowing here earlier and was looking really pretty. Then the rain came and washed it all away. :(

I'm going out later tonight as I'm going to help someone's Year 6 child with their maths/numeracy. Poor thing. I wouldn't want the stress of SATS if I were a child!

Anyway, I'll see you all later.

FunkyFairy - your DD shares her birthday with my mum, and also with Picasso and Handel :)

MATH - :rotfl: extra uncle and cousins shouldn't affect next year's Christmas budget - dad's family have never been close, and up until my grannie's funeral last year it had been 15 years since I'd last seen his other brother! Having said that, if dad develops a relationship with his half-brother I ought to try to keep in touch with him better, because that branch of the family lives in North Kent so less than an hour away from me with only one change of train!

Managed to go into Sainsburys this lunchtime without buying any sweets or magazines :D and went to the cashpoint to withdraw the rest of this week's grocery/spending money. Cashflow this week is tighter than I'd expected cos I had to buy a book of 12 stamps instead of just the two I needed (I didn't have time to find somewhere that sold them individually). However, it should be ok because I don't think I'll have any unforeseen expenses between now and Sunday (famous last words I know!)

Straight home after work this evening (hopefully an early one as my boss says she's leaving at 5pm, which means I'll be out of here at, ooh, about 5:02 :D) so just need to go shopping for veggies and laundry detergent (am out of the colour stuff and am not yet brave enough to try gloop!), do the cooking, put away big pile of clean laundry, do some more paid2clicks (Thanks MATH!), sort out my accounts as I suspect I'll find my payslip waiting when I get home. And the rest.

Edit: kiwichick - can I just ask how long you normally find it takes per day for all the paid2clicks?

More later, back to the grindstone.

    Rzl xx

MATH - I'd go for the stirfry- very quick and easy! BTW you mentioned "grated cheese cobs" - I'm not sure what a "cob" is? Is it a sort of bread roll? Best wishes to Mrs MATH for the interview - I'm sure she will be fine, and they will expect the interviewees to be nervous anyway. :p
