    Hi Everyone :) ,

Thanks to everyone who posted kind comments for my op today:A . All seems to be okay, and should be back to "normal" in a few days time. Got home about 6pm tonight, to find my mum had cooked me tea, and my DS playing with his Thomas trainset.

Think I will be having a few hours on the web, and then an early night for me.

    Thanks again

    POwie

    Evening all
It's taken me ages to scan through the days posts but I find I can't bear to miss finding out what you're all up to even for a day.
I hope everyone who needs to feels better soon.
I would have gone for the chips & cheese cobs too MATH - fancy people not knowing what a cob is! Fingers crossed for Mrs MATH, I've done those outward boundy selection things too & they ain't my cup of tea.
BargainRzl, I was interested to hear about your newly discovered relatives. Last year my DH discovered that he has a half sister, born to his mum, who is younger than he is but he knew absolutely nothing about her at all. That was a bit of a shock! His family history is SO exotic with ancestors from various places in eastern Europe including Siberia, Romania & Transylvania!!! As far as I know my family originally come from East Anglia & Birmingham - not much of a contest.
I've had a long day at work today, left home at 6.45 & got home at 5.15 this evening. I've been feeling pretty pleased with myself though because I still made my lunch to take & got a veggie curry in the SC before I left. Very nice it was too.
It was snowing when I drove to work & then when I drove home I passed a bank of beautiful snowdrops, the first I've seen this year & they really made me feel springlike.
I have a day off work tomorrow because I'm working Saturday, I was hoping to go out on my bike but if it's snowing I might give it a miss. I know I'm a wus but I'm not good at cold - mind you I'm not that good at hot either. There's no pleasing some people!
    xx

I'll add to Moggins' petition: :)

Ticklemouse, House of Mouse, Oop norf.

Right, I'm cream crackered. I've made 8-10 portions of ham and veg soup, 10 portions of celeraic and sweet potato soup, 12 plain buns, 12 spicy fruit buns, 1 large chocolate cake, fruit bread, rhubarb and cherry crumble (with custard) plus Slow cookered chicken (organic - OMG , how nice was that!) with roast spuds, roast veg, steamed green veg and gravy. BM is on again, 2nd load of washing now hung up, kids put to bed (I'm sick of playing 'match-it' with DS2 :D) and I have left - 84ft pile of ironing and 1/2 bottle of red wine to finish ;) Wonder which one I'll enjoy the most......

fruggle - I think I'd rather have the money - esp as I've been told it costs no more than 20p to make even the 'best and most expensive' voddies  However, it wasn't out of your pocket, so enjoy _party_

Oooh - forgot to say - I had a 'thanks' for one of my posts from none other than MSE Martin :j :j Feel all sort of grown-up now :rotfl: (Funny money - caption competition, post 97)

I'm in love! Russel Watson has just sung "Can't Help Falling In Love" on that new Strictly Come Singing (or whatever :D) and it sent shivers down my spine and hairs standing up on the back of my neck etc etc. Mmmmmmmmm. Divine! OH is quite jealous. I pointed out that as I've never heard him sing it, then I can't really compare the two of them :D :rotfl:

    Evening all :)

Well I've just spent the evening with my lil' sis going through her finances. She doesn't actually have a budget at all (theres nothing wrong with that she currently lives with my mum and doesn't have any debt or major bills to pay) but its just weird lol, I think I've been budgeting for sooo long now that its hard to think of life without budgets.

Anyway we worked out that she will be about £1200 short of her target which is almost half of what she thought she'd need to borrow yesterday so thats really good. I've also suggested that she looks through her stuff and finds things to sell on ebay to raise money for her new undies which will help cuts down on the money she needs to raise....bless her. :) I hope she'll be alright.

DH has gone out so its just lil old me, munch is in bed and I think I'll do the sensible thing and go to bed shortly as well. Tomorrow I need to get the tyre place to do me a really good deal on 4 new tyres as I've only a small amount in the budget to pay for them...fingers crossed I'm successful and maybe some tidying....perhaps the dinning room :D  well you never know I've got to do it at some point.

Thanks again Maths for the clicks info. :D

    Night night :A

Has no one started the Friday thread yet? Normally it's on three pages before I even get here.

Busy day ahead for me, I have to take DD1 to school, drive DH to his training day and then go and pick my parents up and take them shopping. DS is at home because the heating is off at his school. Luckily he is old enough and trustworthy enough to stay on his own for a couple of hours while I get all this done.

The worst part of it is that my arthritis is really playing up and I feel very poorly today :(

  • Morning Moggins, morning everybody!

We were forecast to have more snow today, but I'm not seeing any as of yet. Its mighty chilly out there, though. Even the dawgies didn't dawdle during their morning garden visit. Out, find a bush, back - quick sharp! lol

Have to pop out for milk and a few top-up veggies today, oh and send an Ebay parcel.

I vac'd all round on Wednesday and, remarkably, the place isn't looking too bad. That's probably because DH and I basically just sat around the place yesterday, doing nothing - and so, not causing any mess!

I must weild the iron later and make sure that DS has fresh school uniform for next week. I hate finding its Monday and there's no uniform ironed.

Can't remember what's on the cards for dinner tonight - I'll have to check my menu plan.

Math - if its not too much of an imposition, could you let me have info on the Paid2clicks as well? I'd be much obliged.

    Have a lovely day everyone.
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:
