    OOOHHHHHHHH Dear.

Woke up this morning feeling like hell, got up had a shower by quickly relaised that travelling to Paris today was not an option............. so unless I can get a note from the Doctor we are £270 worse off..........

I am very concerned now, I have not been feeling really well since the virus I had last November, so we are looking at cancelling all our plans for foreign travel this year.....I have no wish to end up in a French hospital...... even thought hey have a better sysytem than ours!!!!

Right now am feeling very down, we should be on the train travelling to London instead of which I am sitting in bed with a hot water bottle feeling lousy.

    Awww - tootles (((hugs)))

That's terrible that you're feeling so bad you can't even go away. And you've been so looking forward to it. I hope they find out what the matter is and you do get your holidays later in the year.

Sausage and mash all round me thinks.

Brekkie - cereal - I forgot to make a standard load oooops
Lunch - DD's and DH have a slice of HM, garlic and cheesey tear style bread with salami and pepperoni.

    Morning All

Just a quick one this morning as dd is just waking up cant beleive it this is offically the longest she has ever slept 6.30pm-9.10am. I think I must have tired her out yesterday when we went to SIL's.

Hugs to everyone who ill, specially Tootles sorry your missing your trip.
Mossy I think its resolved, the buyer said that she hadnt received the goods and I said that if she hadnt received them yesterday to get back to me and I would refund. She hasnt got back to me but she also hasnt left me any feedback yet.

It keeps sleeting here today so it must be cold we dont get much snow being on the coast. Therefore I dont think i will be leaving the house today. The WM is on and I'm going to do the cleaning later. That about it for the day for me.

    Have a good day everyone

Had a few flakes of snow this morning...but nothing to write home about.

I picked up my eggs and chocolate chunks last night so I'm all ready to make some muffins this afternoon. If I can get them to last longer than a couple of days they'll be used in pack lunches next week. At least that's the theory anyway. Worst case scenario is that I'll have to pick up some more bits and will do some more on Sunday.

Lunch: whatever I can find in the fridge
Tea: HM pizza a la OH (yum)
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

    Good morning everyone,

Havnt read through the posts yet, so hugs to anyone who needs them :grouphug:

Well, i had a really bad night, for absolutly no reason, went to bed about 11, took ages to go to sleep, then woke up at 3.17!!!! Gave up looking at the clock about 5, was going to get up, but i felt tierd, even tho i just could not get back to sleep!!! Once i finally did drift off, DS came in!!! He then went off downstairs to watch the telly, i drifted back, and then the postman knocked a parcel!!!! Its some anti bacterial wipes that im testing, so very nice, but not when you are trying to sleep!!!! Then DD got up, and i lay there trying to go back to sleep but it didnt happen. Finally got up at 9, and feel a bit better now ive had a cuppa :coffee: , Sorry to go on, but really miffed as it was a chance to have a lie in, which i dont get often, (DS has football :footie: very early tomorrow) never mind, i dont have any little ones here today (just my own) so we can do something nice together!!!!
Need to do a bit of cleaning today, will give these new wipes a testing in the kitchen, but thats about it, the good thing with half term is that im home more, so get more done (the older ones help with the little ones too, which gives me a bit more time!!!) Might go out and visit a friend later as well, shes been away for a few days, so will be nice to catch up!!!!
Still no snow here, but is nice and sunny, although i bet its freezing outside!!!!

Hope everone has a really good day, take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Good morning everyone.
When i looked out of the window this morning the snow was going past horizontally. Fortunately i've got a days holiday from work - so no need to get stuck on the country lanes on my drive in. It has stopped now but still plenty on the ground and the skies are still grey. Contemplating weather to go for a run or not. I don't mind the cold and wet but i don't want to slip and twist/break something.

Even though i'm supposed to be on holiday i'll be studying most of the day. Got to go out and pay the road tax too. Other than that nothing else planned

Tomorrow i'm off to the Bradford beer festival (it starts at 11am !!) A couple of my friends who i haven't seen in a while are coming up - with their kids - so that should be good. Fortunately they aren't staying at my house :)

    Have a good day everyone
