    Hi all
Not been able to get online for a few days, having got rid of my stepson, I was asked if I could take in a supply teacher for 6 weeks, I agreed, only to be asked if I could take in a trainee teacher as well for 17 weeks, lol. Bring it on, I'm feeding them frugal food & no complaints so far, only compliments. So I'm rushed off my feet, but at least we have some extra money coming in. Hugs to everyone.

Hi all, my absence today is explained by the fact that my DH is home and has been busy flying planes all day :(

I've just been told he's home for nearly all of March too due to using up his leave before April, so if I disappear for a month it's not that I'm fed up of old style just that I can't get near the computer :(

I think we should start a petition now to make sure you get your alloted MSE/OS time.

We the undersigned demand that Ms. Moggins is given ample time (let's say 6 hours a day) to sign into MSE/OS whilst Mr Moggins is home:

Prob around half an hour TBH. I know it probably works out at some miserly hourly rate but its still money I wouldnt have otherwise.

Actually it works out at £5.40 per hour, thats more than my mate makes at Clinton Cards!!! Not miserly at all!!!

  • Hi All,
Being lazy here by the fire catching up on your news. I have washed all the dog beds and dog towels though and whizzed around with the vacuum and a duster removing the worst cobwebs. Spiders seem to really like my house; perhaps because they get to lead such a quiet and undisturbed life :o

Also baked some fruit buns using my fave new toy the BM and now have a sandwich loaf going in there. :j
:j Family out at rugby practice and DH and DD have a list to go around Tesco whilst they are there as it is next door to the rugby club. It will be interesting to see if they can stick to the list. I'll report back on that!

    Welcome to Frugal Aussie :hello:

PP- I hope your day was bearable.

Powie- Take a good rest following your op and let your system recover.

FreyaLuck- Glad you are feeling better today but don't spoil it by trying to do too much, you can catch up a bit each day rather than all at once.

Joannasmum and Tootles-Hope you get over your unwellness soon.

Manicdays- My DD was and is a terrible sleeper. She got used to not calling out every time she woke up when she was about 7! We felt like we were in aversion therapy for sleep. You know, daren't nod off because you just KNOW that you are going to hear that little voice again soon. We did all the bedtime routine, bath, story and complete lack of stimulant in food, no TV and turning the lights low before bed, you name it, she just does not sleep really soundly. So it does get better when they feel a little more independent during the night. Hope you won't have to wait too long!

Pooky and Mossy - Well done on your money juggling.

Catowen- Just a little bit of snow here on Dartmoor.

FunkyFairy :bdaycake: Hope DD has enjoyed her day and that you have too!

Math If it is not too much trouble I would like the info on the paid2clicks please.
Good luck to Mrs Math, hope she manages to get some sleep before then. Time to prepare herself but time to worry too.

    Wow...what an exhausting day!!

Hospital went OK and have to be reviewed next month. Dentist went well and me teeth are all white and gleaming.

Cleaner has been here today so house lovely and clean. 2 washloads done. Just had dinner of Spagbol and parmasan instead of the usual shepards pie on a thursday.

Luckily, not doing anything tomorrow, but will probably list my items on ebay that I wanted to do yesterday.

Anyways, im gonna go as I want to jump in bath after DD and put some nice fresh PJ's on in me nice crisp bed linen tonight.

    Luv to all

    I am absolutely exhausted today. :( ......

Have done the sum total of zippo, nada, nothing, today ......

Once everybody is fed and watered, I shall again return to my semi-comatose state until tomorrow, whereupon (hopefully) normal service will be resumed. ~yawn~

    Snap!!! (((hugs)))

Didn't get up till 9am, which is late for me, so immediately fell behind with my usual routine of doing all the animals, starting any washing up that needs doing, putting WM on etc before sitting down here with a :coffee:

Decided to go over all my budgets with a fine toothcomb as I need to shave off some extra cash from somewhere to fund the ever-deepening decorating & gardening pots, and also needed to backtrack through some old archives for stuff. Before I knew it DS was home from school and I realised I hadn't moved out of this seat except to make coffee/visit the loo :o

I've just managed to get all the washing up done from last night and prepped tonights dinner of HM pizza and cheesy potato skins - dough was done in BM and is sat rising on the tray, everything's chopped and ready to assemble and stick in oven, but the boys can do that themselves when they eventually surface from their rooms! I've just poured myself a large glass of wine :p

I think it's going to be one of those evenings :o

I think we need to start an Ol'Style knitting circle to produce all the boffin shaped beanie hats to help keep yer brains warm. I had no idea the Ol'Style board was frequented by such litterati, (that's [people who get arty with litter for the uneducated reader):D and here I or should that be me:confused: thinking you were a load of old vineger sniffers.:p :D

Well I've ignored most of ya and we've had chip 'n' cheddar cobs (that's a bread roll for those who don't speak propper like wot I/me do)LOL. And was very tasty so :p to all those who come on board to slate my culinary preparations like wot Mossey does :rotfl: Sat watching Oprah while we ate, butter dribbling down all out chins. I shall hang from the shower rail tonight and lower myself gently onto the scales until they register the weight I want and the hop off quick. LOL

Whatever you're having for tea enjoy.

  • I was given a nice suprise present from some of my friends at work today as a congrats on the house - a bottle of Stolichnaya Elite. Is it far too MSE of me to say that at £38.75 for 70cl I'd rather have had the money!

Spent this afternoon cleaning the bathroom - the toilet seat broke last week and my repair attempts have snapped. Grrrr. The last tenants never cleaning this palce so i;m not surprised one of the metal thingys attaching the seat to the base sheared off & the angel/pressure snapped the plastic on the other side. Going to tell the landlords tomorrow - we give our notice in on the 1st & now i'm worried the repairs will come out of the deposit.
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!
