    Hiya all

It's half-term here but mine haven't reached the 'teenage, can't get out of bed years' yet :D They are downstairs having eaten 15 tonnes of cereal - each :) They seem to be playing some sort of game that involves jumping over everything and shooting aliens (DS1 has asked for Star Wars stuff for b'day) Mr TM is fast asleep in bed, cos it's half term for him too.

Going over to mum's today (or possibly tomorrow, I'll ring here and ask when her Dr's appts are) Went over yesterday and we all went to a car boot sale. Picked up one of those 7 candle Xmas arches - a nice wooden one - for £1 and it works :D DS's got a small rain (G'ma paid), a free ball/marble, an excellent reference type book(10p) and 2 soft toys (free). It pays to go late sometimes - although I can see one of the soft toys being very quickly relegated to my 'boot sale' boxes :D

Did all my ironing last night - just need to put away and replace valanced base on our bed (2 person job) WM still needs to go on again. DW needs unpacking and BM will have to go on today. Usual amounts of vac'ing/tidying as needs doing in a house containing small boys :D

B: Porridge (me) cereals (boys) Mr TM - who knows
    L: Sandwiches and fruit salad
D: Corned beef hash and veg

Must remember to put my pedometer on today. Forgot yesterday and Saturday only did 5802 steps - but it was a 'lazy start and spend most of afternoon in kitchen' kinda day.

Hope you have (had by the time you read this) a lovely day kiwi (I'm not jealous - much :D)
PP - hope today's not too bad for you and Ice - hope the dentists works out ok.

Ok - off to surf while my porridge is still warm.

    TM

    What a beautiful morning.

Woke with swollen tonsils again, nurofen and gargling with paracetamol seem to have it under bay though :)

DH has departed for the airport.
DD almost ready for nursery, when she's finished making her "work 'phone calls"

    Load hung on line
    WM on
    DW half full
    Beds stripped

    B - Porridge
    L - dunno
D - beans on toast if I remember to put the BM on :)

    Work today
    Pilates at lunchtime
    DD home at 3.

Right, time to get on .... have a good day y'all, and please let the weather get windy and stay dry :)

Morning everybody - sitting here in p.js with a cup of tea and trying to summon the energy to get dressed.

Washing machine is on and it looks like good drying day.
Not had brekkie yet and totally lacking inspiration as to what to cook.
If DD is out then it may be something that suits me and DH and other DDs.

Anyone who knows skintchick might want to know she has posted on the relationships board and could do with cheering up.

I thought of extending the curative powers of vinegar but did not want to scare her

Big hug to PP and Ice and anyone else feeeling down.

KC -enjoy your day - hope Mr KC copes ok
    PP - take it easy

Well I am on holiday this week but my body alarm wakes me up at the same time  so much for a long lie.....was waiting in bed for OH to come home from Nightshift but got a text 20mins ago that he will be late as someone has not turned in - never mind - it is overtime.

DW needs to be emptied...got the hang of how much Washing powder to put in..but this time I have a mixture of cheap soap powder, soda crystals and slightly dearer soap powder (Surf) - and the dishes look great.

Having my 2nd :coffee: at the moment.

Washing machine awaiting OH clothes from last night - will hang out as it is a beautiful day here - might not dry fully but a least it will be aired.

Depending on wether OH goes for sleep or not will decide what to do today - if he stays up then will start at top of house and work my way down.

    B - cereal or toast
    L - ??
D - Toad in the hole with roast potatoes will also stick bread in oven at same time as I need to make a loaf today

    Have a lovely day all

    Take care

    Morning :hello:

Well even though I've had a relatively leisurely weekend - OK I spent Saturday whipping round the housework, but yesterday I went to bed mid-afternoon for a lie down and ended up staying there almost without a break until this morning, just watching TV and MSEing on the laptop - I REALLY didn't want to wake up this morning. Still feel exhausted from last week at work.

Lots to do today so can't really stay long; just wanted to say HUGS to everybody who needs them and KC I hope you have a lovely day out :D

Lunch is reheated ravioli with pesto from the batch I cooked up on Sunday; dinner will probably be Friday's leftovers reheated (pork ribs in a peanut sauce, with couscous).

    Rzl xx

Kids just left for school and i've got a free day today, am off to Ludlow later for lunch with my best mate before she goes to the Dr for some important test results, she's very nervous so will be offering hugs and support !

Before that I'm building up to tackle my 16 year old sons room  have warned him that I would be in there with black sacks if he didn't do it and now the time has come! ;)

PP your quiche sounds nice, may make one myself this week to use up some bits.

Catch you all later!

  • Good Morning,

WM on dishwasher emptied and kitchen cleaned (cant do anything else until my kitchen is clean). Children off to school though DS cried the whole way there - he is year 2 and just doesnt like school. Usually he is ok after 5 mins there tho.

In my office now and just started a mountain of paperwork, I run my own business and all the paperworl for my oh's (not just book-keeping nowdays have to all the health and safety and keep up with employee leglisation (sp)) Like to get as much done on a Monday as possible.

Trying not to look at house tho as housework hasnt been done for 3 weeks!!!
It will still be there tomm when I plan to have a major housework session. On positive side have caught up with washing since holiday and hope to keep on top of it.

Gammon in slow cooker for tonight - cooked in there once before and now wont do it any other way - looking forward to trying Lamb in there also one day this week.

Hopefully will do well in office today as want to look aroung baking threads later as really want to get into homeade cakes and biscuits, our holiday home opens 1st March and we generally go each weekend until oct and when you are there you tend to munch a lot.

Anyway off to make a start.

    Have a good day all.
