Don't you DARE suggest that people are making it up  I know for a fact that this new look is causing me a headache. It has nothing to do with preferring the look of the old site, it just that the old look didn't cause people to get headaches! How the hell would you know how colours and contrast affect people, do you have any kind of medical qualification that makes you an expert in such matters?
We're not all the same you know, some people are more sensitive to things like this, me being one of them.
Well this post did make me smile, never had you down for being a sensitive soul judging by the way you post to people0 -

That's exactly the correct phrase.
It's as though someone's removed all the trees! And now we have an undefined blur.
Bet Martin doesn't do his own decorating .... if this is his idea of beneficial improvement?;)If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
I haven't read the whole thread but as I haven't been online for a couple of days wondered what the hell had happened to the site. There is an annoying strip of reddy brown by the online/offline light/report post, bottom left hand side of poster.
Please change the site back to how it was. Thank you!!0 -
Martin :money: must have spent ages discussing the new colour scheme with his web designers. However,....
I don't like it. Sorry. It's too bright for my liking...... and spring isn't here yet.
I'm sure the colours must be a mistake.0 -
Found :- A photo of the MSE colour designer :-A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0

Thanks for the feedback... we were expecting negative feedback immediately... every change we've ever done has been met with it from regulars (though once it beds in people like it).
The idea was to clean it up a bit - less harsh lines, that's pretty much all that's changed.
However, removing harsh lines to clean the forum up makes it harder to spot the boundaries between things.Happy chappy0 -

my eyes are sore too, it's too garish and the green and yellow clash"I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. I said to a friend, 'Just keep your fingers crossed that I get lucky again tonight!' Realizing what I said, I tried to correct it and said, 'No, I mean, I just hope that I get some tonight!' After that, I decided to shut up."0
