Afternoon all,
Hugs to all in trouble and strife, unfortunately too many for me to remember individually, but remember my age and take the hug if needed please.
Have sent my Australian relatives off for the day in the frost...hopefully they will arrive back safely in time for dinner, very cold and windy here, have to go to the post office in a minute to post a parcel, which will probably cost a mint.
Steak, pak choi, turnip and steamed spuds for dinner to-night, something made with mascapone for pudding as it only has a few fridge days left...would like something warm so not sure what I will end up doing.
Really tired and cold, think I might have a snooze when I return from post office...have a good afternoon all

Continuing our old style ways despite being so busy and a good thing about being so busy is dont use car to go out as at home working!! we had soup for dinner on monday night as wanted an easy tea and had made it on sunday so that and some of those part baked rolls was cheap and easy, last night was organic sausages and mash and tonight is a roast as i am at home and we are having half a chicken - husband now cuts them in half so we can buy free range and get moneys worth as never ate a whole one and got bored using up the leftovers. Hi All
Been reading your daily thread for a while now so hope you dont mind me joining you.
Today I have................managed very little. Have Rheumatoid Arthritis, got a steroid injection yesterday in my hip and having a very bad day today. Really need to get going though.
I have been trying very hard lately with the whole OS thing and determined to continue. Dinner tonight will be an 'easy tea' as I really dont have the energy. Thinking oven chips and something. Really need to get something done around here so while dinner is on I will hopefully have a quick wizz around the kitchen and rope DH into flinging the hoover around the house.
Hope you all have a nice evening.
L xoxoxIts hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........
People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!0 -
Hi there - Re Captain Jack - just a fleeting visit to make a few jealous. Stayed in the house next door to him recently and he sang to me over the fence.0
