Hi there - Re Captain Jack - just a fleeting visit to make a few jealous. Stayed in the house next door to him recently and he sang to me over the fence.
Can you see the greeness coming off the screen ;) You lucky thing! He's apparently got a wicked sense of humour but his favourite party trick is to 'show' certain aspects of himself off :rotfl: He's a very proud boy. I read his autobiography last year it was actually very interesting. Gotta ask though - What did he sing? And how did that come about? I'm so nosy

I am beyond green with envy. Apparently he has more than his fair share to 'show off' if he feels so inclined... :o:p What a shame for women everywhere his tastes lie elsewhere!

    Welcome to you Linz!
    Sistercas - *hugs* honey

By the way, I only just read yesterdays thread and I want to send hugs to Sybil and Thrift also for the ladylike way they both responded to the poster. I do not believe she meant to be so inflammatory, but as someone else said, it doesn't take a minute to edit ourselves and be a little more gentle when making our opinions known.

Mummysaver - Mr Diva says thank you for the comments - he will, of course, live off the story of this wonderful forage for a long long longggg time. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone!

Hi all. Feeling better  than I was earlier.

Hi Linz...welcome...Im fairly new here but this lot are a great bunch and have been very supportive to me today. I'm sure you'll get along fine & I hope that injection works for you soon.

Kitchen doesn't feel quite so bad now but I don't think I'll be able to pack away her things just yet...maybe tmrw after work. DD came home and started crying as soon as she came in the door...so had a rather long and tearful chat with her, plenty of hugs too...has helped me as much as I think it helped her. Her teacher was very good today too when she got upset at school.

Thank you especially to peyton for that lovely link...it was beautiful even though it hurt loads and helped too.

I've not done much OS today but I'm using whatever I've got left in the freezer for tea.....easy tea for us too. OH has got rehersals later so I might take myself off in the bath with a book.

Well, it's a good thing Mum and Dad were here or I would've sat down and cried (but then that's why they've come!). Alarm went off on my organiser. Time to collect ds it said, but I didn't know if he'd taken his instrument to school for rehearsal or even if he planned to go.Rang dh who didn't know, no instrument in his room, so rang his friend and found that DS wasn't on the bus so I would have to go...was in the middle of assembling stuff for roast dinner!

Mum said to Dad, we can go and get T, can't we, so they got ready and went. It's 10 miles each way. I was so relieved. I'm fine until anything happens, then I crumble. Roast lamb ready, rice pud ready, just need to finish veg and gravy.

Today has not been a nsd.....I got OH out for a walk, so far we have been dizzy free since Sunday, I went to Aldi to get some oranges and spent £16:eek:    omg thats this months budget out the window. Mind you I did buy a heavy duty stapler, I am planning on redoing my footstool which is looking very sad for itself and we also want to line the shed with bubble plastic for next winter.....I can also use it to put the wires up for the raspberries.

Done nothing this afternoon, sorted out some of my quilting stuff and threads.....I want to finish the pioneer quilt I started when OH was in hospital, then I can get on with the bears paw for our bed, I need to sort out some scrap fabric, I bought enough for the background from the fabric warehouse when I went a couple of weeks ago.

Spag bol home made garlic bread and bananas and ice cream for supper, might also manage a glass of vino!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
