Evening all,
Halfpint, I am so sorry to hear about your little dog, how very sad, hugs to you all xx
Now now ladies, form an orderly queue for Captin Jack, behind me

Had tea and a quick bath, will tidy up quickly and then have a few hours in front of the tv, and an early night I think, for some reason I am shattered.
Hugs where needed xx0 -

Evening everyone
Crikey you lot have been busy posting today its taken me ages to read them all but got to be honest its been fun.As for the spider euggghhhh cant stand them and Captain Jack not at all to my taste even if I was the right type for him:D
MSD-Sausagemeat Pie.You just know I'm going to ask for that recipe!:D Got a couple of spare packs of sausagemeat left in the freezer from xmas so it would come in handy to have something else to make with it.So pretty please
Well its flaming freezing here so the curtains are closed and the heating cranked up to the max:o We've been indulging in a bit of retail therapy here today as the insurance finally paid out on the tv that OH dropped weeks ago. We've already replaced the tv so got to spend the money on other things:D I've got a lovely new handblender with attachments to play with now instead of the cheapy one that keeps spitting hot liquids at me whenever I try to blend soups:mad:
Due to indulging in retail therapy I havent done much OS other than changing the kids beds and tidying up:o I will catch up tomorrow though I promise;)
OH finally got delivery of his Wii Fit yesterday and we've all been playing on it.I wont say I'm unfit but I needed oxygen and heart paddles to get me going again after just a short jog!:rotfl: Oh well it can only get better
Halight good luck with job hunting.I'm sure you will find something soon

Re: Captain Jack!
OOh that man is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a waste. he can manipulate my rift too after he's manipulated Sistercas's LOL
My rift too, There are only a few times I've wished I was a man and one of them was when I found out he was gay!
What a waste, that beautiful man lost to the gene pool!! Wonder if he wants children, I might offer to be a surrogate

Evening everybody
<<<<<<all who need some tlc>>>
Back at school today. Everyone asking discreetly how I am. Lots of sympathy from female colleagues (didn't want to discuss with the blokes as greenish skin doesn't suit them!)
Best moment - chatting to my Y8 students about Obama and science fiction (not in the same conversations)
And..I think my guest appearance at A&E helped me out in other areas too - I'm 3lbs lighter this week. (not that it comes with recommendations!)
Big thanks to everyone who has sent positive thoughts/thanks over the last five days.
Tomorrow's going to be a long one - full day of lessons, plus Y10 parents evening. Won't see my couch (or the computer chair ) until at least 9pm. Hope they remember to leave the heating on in the Hall!Surviving the ups and downs of life with DH

Hello folks and ((((hugs)))) to those having a hard time. Thinking of you Half Pint - have been there before. You get more used to it in time and begin to think more of the fun times and little quirky behaviour that each pet has. One tip is to leave doors open downstairs if you can - if I was tired I used to open a door carefully incase Tessa was behind it, forgetting that she'd gone. Thinking of you.
PenPin - really hoping that tomorrow your days start getting easier. Hope the anti-nausea pills help.
Tea tonight was reheated curry from last night, so that was easy. Tomorrow night is my first session at a yoga group - haven't been for years but need to get my ar*e in gear and do something. I loved it when she said to take a blanket for the relaxation as that was always my favourite bit.
Off to have a scan of flylady thread so that I know what I'm supposed to be doing tonight. I think just doing a bit regularly is making a difference. I'm a half-attempted flylady - no, that's just a plain lie. I have dabbled in fly stuff before but now just delete the emails . I'm not at the stage of unsubscribing though.0 -
Evening all :hello:
Just read your wonderful positive post Halight and wanted to wish you every success in your job hunt.0 -
I am off to make the lunches for tomorrow and have an early night. I haven't done very much today due to being so tired so I'm going to have a good nights sleep and be bright and breezy in the morning.
Today has been a good one, OH came home from work stone cold sober and we had a lovely time cooking tea together in the kitchen, talking about our days and slow dancing along to the radio. I wish it could be like this all the time.
His boss wanted him to start working 7am to 9pm Thursday to Sat and 7am to 2.30pm the rest of the week, he's actually put his foot down and said if he's working till 9pm then he won't start till 10am and tomorrow has promisd me a cooked breakfast! Just the thought that the alarm won't go off at 5.30am is good enough for me
I don't do well without sleep.
I must sit down and fill in DD's audition form for the Royal Ballet School tomorrow. I need to get it back to her ballet teacher along with photographs
and the administration fee by Saturday.0 -
well folks....OH is at rehersals and all the kids are in bed. I've spent my time earlier doing a nice piccy of Tammy and I've put it in a frame...OH cried when he saw it. I've also added it as my avatar.
You lot made me smile with "captain Jack"....I'll join the queue.
We've had dinner and the kitchen is all tidied up. Been trying to get into an old episode of Monarch...loved the series.....tis good to see my home country - even if it is on the telly!
Wanted to say thanks again to you all....you have really helped me get through today...and I would like to send my own hugs to those on here that need it too. (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))
Have a good evening and a peaceful one. xxDEBT FREE DATE: 05/02/2015!Those things in life that we find the hardest to do, are the things we are the most thankful we did.0
