Folks i have discovered that "value oils" is not the cheapest online. The price has started to climb and it looks like it's going to level out soon at a higher rate than it was a couple of days ago. Buy now!!!!
Do a search for "cheaper oil online" using your favourite search engine.
Hey presto you have saved yourself £10.
I have just ordered 2000 litres £680.
This should do me till 2011.
Happy hunting.0 -
Prices on the increase again. Star Fuels in Carrick (who are usually the cheapest in the area) have gone up from £277 to £330 for 900l. Glad we've already got ours.0

If you're ordering 2000 litres at a time you must be madmad unless you're sure the price is going to go up. But since you were so badly stung in June you're probably not that confident. What's more you were paying in June for oil that you weren't going to use until December.0

tell me you're joking! seriously how long would that do you? cos we went through about 3000 litres last year - although a)its a new house, b) builders were in and out for about 3 months of last year leaving the doors open all the time and c)we've got underfloor heating which i'm told uses a lot for the first while.
thats my excuses anyway!DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

WHAT SIZE IS YOUR HOUSE????!!!!!!
My parents go through alot of oil but thats cos they have a big open house which is old and even with new double glazing in its always still freezing!!
Think last year we probably used less than 1000L!! (Joys of having a small terraced house!)0 -
We also get through 3/4 000 litres a year - plus coal and wood and its not like we have the house hot - most evenings we are sat with blankets over our legs.
Our house isnt HUGE, 5 bedrooms and 3 receptions - just stuck in the middle of a field on the NW coast - makes for cold0 -
i got a price on monday at 33ppl today cant get a price any cheaper than 40.2ppl, when we started buying 10 years ago it was 5.2ppl !!!!!!0
