Afternoon Jackie! Hope you don't mind, I'm going to pinch your idea for the mash frozen in scoops, what a clever idea! And so easy to defrost just the right amount then. I shall also be checking out Hunter, I love detective series, don't watch a whole lot of telly, so I tend to miss anything unless someone tells me, get to see a lot of Tracy Beaker though - dd3's favourite!
Well rolls are cooling, covered in a teatowel to keep them soft, and pots are in the moski for the girls when they get home from school, ds is in bed, apparently he has a gippy tummy, I suspect tireditus, as he hasn't been out of his bed all day!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

I think it'll be a while, she can't access anything at the moment and didn't know what I was on about when I said 'are you sure the caps lock key isn't on?'. She's bringing it over on Friday so I can help her with it- like I know:rolleyes: I'll be opening the wine early that night that's for sure:wall: :wall:

lol at the dogs, when I brought dd home from hospital as a newborn both our Springer spaniels came into season within a few days. They absolutely doted on her - I would put her on a mat and they would lie with their noses pressed right up to the very edge watching her, knowing that they weren't allowed on the mat.
Just a quick comment on some of the posts above - Thriftlady we've all been there with children and parents, some people forget we've got to squeeze our own lives in there too.
Re the phone calls DH once told one of my brothers (who I have never got on with) that I was in the bath so that I didn't have to speak to him.
WS hope you had a lovely outing with little bear, your posts bring him to life so vividly.
OS wise I managed to bake this weekend and do all the washing and drying but not the ironing - I felt quite under the weather. I might try tackling the ironing watching the footie tonight.0 -
Task no.2 is complete, Hanging on the curtain rail. When the dog walkers along the canal see that sight they'll be looking for the teepee! Think I need a couple of liquorice alsorts before I start on the Grim Reaper!
You will all be pleased to know that I'm in the final throes of the Grim Reaper cloak, then the tunic will be a quick job. Have had to break off for a good Old Style Tea Break! ALso to shut the curtains [STRIKE]of the teepee [/STRIKE]at the big windows to keep the heat in and [STRIKE]remove scalps [/STRIKE]take down wigs from the curtainrail at said big window. I'm gasping. Cuppa anyone? Milk ? Sugar? Anyone got a biccy?[SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"[/SIZE]
