Lloyds just get worse with the hard sell

This is still not a hard sell unless there has been a change in the definition of teh term in recent years which I may have missed?
I did mention earlier that the reason that you may get asked a lot is because you may have a large overdraft paying a lot of interest, you may have large savings sat in a current account earning little to no interest. Or you don't pay your c/c in full and tbh you may save more money with a lower interest rate than a tiny amount of cashback.
I don't use my overdraft.
I don't leave any money in my current account from month to month.
I pay my credit card in full each month and benefit nicely from cashback.
Whether it fits your definition of hard sell or not is immaterial, it is extremely annoying to be badgered every time I go near my bank. Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -

I will continue to use my Bank to Bank with, nothing more, nothing less.
It aint a supermarket, it's a bank.0 -
Well take your own advice and if they offer you something then just say no thanks (effectively ignoring their advice) instead of kicking up a fuss about it.
You just don't get it, customers don't want to be pestered by bank staff trying to flog stuff, that is where this thread started, not by me, I hasten to add.0 -

As post is entitled lloyds just got worst with hard sell then I think the definition of hard sell is very material.
Also you could also stop using banks and ask your employer to pay you in some different way if you feel this way.0 -

:T Same here, but the bank staff think that they have a right to try to tell us all what is best for us, some of them cannot even manage their own affairs too well.0 -

So you think the bank owes you everything and the supermarket doesn't? you choose to use a bank, you are not forced to, you choose to have credit from the bank, again you are not forced to to.
If you don't like it then seriously why not use cash instead of banks0 -

No, YOU don't. Thankfully, you are not everyone. Some people could benefit from advice given to them at the counter, some people couldn't, some people are irritated by it. Life goes on. Deal with it. Your paranoid whinging will change nothing.0 -

would you prefer the bank to do away with free banking and charge you for every transaction you do like it is in america? would this be better than the bank suggesting things to you?0 -
