I have sent off my 1st claim to e2save about a week ago. Do they reply when they receive the voucher? thanks.

I ahve no problem with Dial a phone, I had 5 claims so far , they all replied within a couple of days when they received the voucher and credit the cashback within a week

You should receive a text message saying they have received your claim and await an outcome, this takes just over a week.

If successful, then another text message is sent saying the cheque will be with you within 30 days.

Carphonewarehouse use this same text system to let you know when it has been received and when your claim has been successfully processed. Mobileshop apparently send you an email when they have received and processed your cashback and indicate when you should receive your cheque. Both models appear best practice as it avoids you having to phone up to check if they received it (despite you having recorded delivery receipt saying it was delivered and signed for!).

If you sent it as recorded/special delivery (as recommended) check Royal Mail that they received it. Personally, I didn't wait for the text, I phoned up their cashback/redemptions team to confirm they had received it and it had been processed (if there were any problems, which there were not, I was then in a position to send any additional information before the claim window closed!).

  • Hi,

new to this forum. I'm about to purchase a phone from Mobile Rainbow, Lg u8800 on a 11 month free line rental through cashback, good idea ?

Also someone said if you go pass your free mins or text you can't get cashback, is that true ? as surely won't it be like a normal contract and after your free mins you get charged as normal ?

    Thanks
  • Dial a Phone OK. When I accidentally shredded the bill I should have sent in, they accepted a bill printed from 3's website.
  • Would also recommend dialaphone

I had no probs w/ my large cashback from CPW. Sent bills in recorded delivery and received texts confirming their arrival. Sent one bill too early and shortly after sent the right bill in. I had to make a phonecall to sort it out, but it was not any trouble at all, esp considering the mistake was mine! Just one more claim to make, but not worried at all. I like having a large window of time to sent the bills in. Some companies give 2 weeks to file your claim. I don't feel like scheduling holidays around the arrival of my mobile bill!

Has anyone dealt with Cool New Mobile? They have some nice deals. I am leaving a 3 contract, and don't feeling like porting my number out and bringing it back again, so am looking for the most minutes on another network. A nice new phone is an extra! Thanks!

I had no problems with CPW. I received texts from them to say that they'd received my claims, and the cheques arrived soon afterwards.

There is a "sticky" at the start of the Mobiles forum where you can request and view feedback on many of the High Street and online dealers.
