I would appreciate any feedback on this company as well.
Did a search and found this forum which has one dissatisfied buyer and several who would recommend the company. Firm seems to have been around for a couple of years.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

I think OSPS have got their act in order at last. I sent my month 4 bill of and within 10 days a cheque was here. Not only that today a £10 voucher arrived for buying on line (over 4 months ago!). I was a bit worried after reading things on here maybe the CPW have sorted them out now!
    .
  • Have been searching for the best cashback deals and have happened upon what seems like a too good to be true deal from 'Mobile Rainbow'. 600 mins anytime talk time and 400 texts for 4.75 per month on 3 Network and with a free SE608i handset. This is based on free line rental and cashback (142.00) at months 6, 9, and 12.

Was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with Mobile Rainbow and if so, did everything work out ok?
  • hi nikki,

i've got the exact phone, exact tariff from the exact company....so far so good. online order; staff called the next day (in the timeframe i'd indicated on my order form - impressive!) to confirm my order and to give an estimated date/time of delivery; phone arrives via RM special delivery the next, next morning.

one gripe though...the cashback documentation only arrives 15-20days after the phone (or so says the mobilerainbow staffer); and that what they've done so far has not much bearing on whether i'd get paid my cashback or not. hopefully it's a sign of good things to come.

I submitted my bills at the end of December but have not received the cheque yet - sometimes seems that they deal with today's post rather than dealing with them in the order that they arrive :(. A few weeks ago when I called they said it had been processed and the cheque would be out in the next few weeks so looking forward to the cheque.

I have contracts with e2save. I have had a couple of problems, initially they refused my claim advising that I had not sent my claim in within the 28 day period. I had to send them a copy of my terms and conditions, showing 6 and 12 months ( it changed to 4, 8 and 12 just after this particular contract). I threatened them with Trading Standards and they paid up.

However, I recommended 2 friends, they have only allowed commission on one of them and I still havent received the money (last JUNE). I have written several times, even by recorded delivery, but no luck.

I always go through quidco now!!
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷

apparantly the voucher cashback thing is a new thing introduced this month and so the vouchers arent available yet, hence the delay. They have been answering my emails very quickly which does give a good impression but i still cannot decide.

how does this cash back work?
ive seen a phone with 200 free mins and 100 text, 12 months free contract (phones4u) via cash back, if i use under that does that mean i get a phone and calls for free?

the phone ive got now is a work one which costs no more than £6 pm for personal calls cos i use it so little but im moving job soon.

Hi David. The answer to your question is Yes! If you keep within the minutes and text messages and claim your cashback on time then you are getting a phone and lots of talk time free for the year. After that you can simply cancel the contract, sell the phone and take out another contract and do the same again. You will have meade money to use the phone!

So many MSE'ers are doing this including myself. You must be disciplined enough to make sure you send in the cash back vouchers and stick exactly to their T&C's when doing so.

Also I would recomend taking photo copies to keep and sending in claims via a recorded form of delivery.

One other thing (if you don't already know), when/if you buy it, go through https://www.quidco.com and you will get another £35 out of the deal.

Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first ;)
