Did anyone manage to get their Cash back from One Mobile Shop? If yes please let me know how.
Thanks
Unfortuneately its too late for my mom who has lost at least £100 to these gansters. When we had the number we got a similar response - they even hung up on us a couple of times!!! Now we can't find their telephone number and wondered if you could advise please? Do you have any tips on how we go about getting the money back? My moms a pensioner. Thanks in advance.0 -
Have just received our final cashback payment from two phones (both SE W810i) that we bought from Onestopphoneshop as clearance offers - offer was 12 month contract @ £30 per month with 11 months cashback. Got a cheque for £80 after 90 days, filled out and sent the claim forms at 4 month intervals and, with a minor delay at month 4, received 3 cheques for £83 with no problems whatsoever.
So very happy with our £30 phones - well done Onestopphoneshop :T0 -
That was then. This is now, as many others are finding out. The waters are full of hidden rocks; if you can navigate well enough you'll be fine - otherwise, watch out!!0

Simply3g are NOT paying up cashbacks. I have two approved cashbacks sitting with them for £180 but they refuse to pay them. I have followed their rules to the latter and still they are not paying up. But they are still selling 'cash back' deals on their site.
What should be my next step? This is my first experience with cash back so ...0 -

You will see that some customers are thinking of going to court and getting a court order for their money, but that could be a waste of more money if it turns out they can't pay.0 -
Suggest you look up the thread on them on here. There's been a fair number of posts recently.0

My wife received a phone call from ONE MOBILE VILLAGE offering her this unbelievable deal,LG phone 200 xnet minutes 200 texts 1 year contract on 3G network promotional deal.
£25 per month,£150 cashback after 6 months £150 after 12month everything works out free after 12 month, salesperson convinced her, she would be mad to refuse this offer so she signed up for it.Phone arrives 5 days later, different contract 18 month contract wife phones up cancelled contract and return phone the sameday.£50 was taken out my wife's bank account, company claim this was a disconnection charge she had to pay, phone was never connected tried phoning this company on their 0870 number, keep you waiting on phone there customer sales manager is DAVID ANDREWS very busy guy, don't think he exists, keep sending letters in urgeing me to take back handset or pay the line rental off for remainder of contract because they will not be able to disconnect the line.PLEASE BEWARE AND SAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AND ITS UNDERHAND TACTICS TO STEAL YOUR MONEY.
I also did what your wife did but in march, sent the phone back to cancel and have found out in December that the mobile sim card is being used in my name, I have had a bill from orange for over £865 this has come out of the blue as I have never recieved any bills since May when I again informed orange of the return of the phone, I have been advised by orange to contact their fraud department of which I am at present in the process of doing.0 -

Again about One Mobile Village - we went for the same phone deal they were offering and decided to go on and no good came out of it even though we've read everything and were doing everything correctly! - just tried claiming the first cashback after 9 months and they sent us letter with the little table with check marks saying that we passed everything for cashback apart from registering online as their T&C 5.5 says you have to register within 14 days after ordering! Guess what I distinctively remember reading that 5.5 T&C and due to it going and registering basically next day after receiving the phone! Unfortunately can't find any e-mail in my box as I lost all the e-mails due to computer crash few months ago! and their site doesn't recognize the e-mail either!! So BIG SCAM BEWARE!!!!:mad:0

I wish I had come across this forum much earlier. I took out an 18 month contract at 35GBP per month with One Mobile Village who phoned me up last February. I submitted a 4 month cash back claim along with my fourth monthly Orange statement. Apparently, in the letter I got back from them, they said that I did not provide them with all my monthly Orange statements, however, their small print is confusing and doesn't explicitly say that you have to provide statements for every month. I will not be using these schemes ever again. :mad:0
