Our last deal was with e2save.com, and they paid up on time no probs.
We are looking for another 3-4 contracts for family and need to know the best and thge worst.
Thanks
Have had contract through dial-a-phone now coming up to 3rd year, never had a problem, they send sms to let you know they got your claim, and the cheque arrives few days after that.Kat :money:0 -

I think it also depends on what type of cashback is involved. I had been using Dial-a-phone for 4 years without problem but the cashback was in terms of money going in my account. But last year I took Orange deals through DAP for myself and wife with cashback in terms of airtime and they have not sent the last airtime voucher to Orange for both me and my wife. I have sent them emails and 4 recorded letters but no reply so far. Thinking of taking the matter to small claims court.

I recently bought a phone from phones2u on a cashback deal and ,after reading about their incredibly poor reputation on this forum, want to cancel. They are making it very difficult. Their 0870 number is permanently engaged. They are not open at the weekend. They e-mailed me to say that if I return the phone without a returns number issued by them, they will reject it. I have to get the phone to them by 21st Nov. How can I do this is I cannot get hold of them? Apparently it is not possible for them to e-mail me this returns number. Where do I stand if I send the phone back and they return it to me and I cannot return again cos I am out of my 14 day return period? I have cancelled the contract with 3, at their end and they have stopped my direct debit. Anyone with any ideas/info to help me? Thanks0

A friend of mine recently took out a contract from phones2udirect, I warned him about this company, and he called them and was able to get a returns number. However, this company charged him something like £40 'admin fees' for returning. But still better than sweating over £500 cashbacks (he was on £45/month contract!).
Just keep phoning them!0 -
I have tried Mobileshop with 3 cashback so far waiting for the last one in December. Just started with e2save... keeping my fingers crossed!0

Hi
I recently took out a second contract with Phones2udirect.
Things are not looking good - they tried to deliver the phone later than they promised and they're customer services are not polite.
This, in addition to the fact they are now overdue in sending out my first cash-back cheque has led me to want to cancel this new second contract.
I now have a return's number and need to get the phone back to them by Monday 4th Dec in order to qualify for the 14 day rule. However as someone has previously mentioned, there is an admin fee of £35 payable which I do not want to pay.
I have spoken to trading standards (aka consumer direct on 08454 040506) who say that according to the Distance Selling Regulations, no 'admin' fee is payable. The twist is that P2U are saying they will not cancel the contract unless I put in writing that I agree to the £35 charge. I know it's not much but why should I pay?
Any advice would be really appreciated.

Avoid Clum Mobile like the plague - they did not want to pay simple as that !
We have been very happy with E2save and intend to take out another contract with them when the current one finishes. better the devil and all that0 -
Things get no better with this truly awful company! Readers will know that I had to commence procedings against them for the 1st cashback before they finaly replied, apologising for the delay!
So duly claimed 2nd cashback, no response as usual. Paid another £30 and commenced proceedings again.
Got the cheque today.
Spread the word avoid this company their working practices are questionable to say the least.0 -
Avoid Phones2U, I had to issue legal proceedings to get my first cashback. Even then they paid thirty pounds less. Nows its been three months since I sent my second cashback in....and im waiting. Looks like I have to go through the legal channels, again. AVOID.0

My first deal with www.chatterbox.com/promo got my cashback no problem, my second deal with www.microlinemobiles.com got my cashback no problem, my third deal with www.coolnewmobile.co.uk got my first cashback out of five so far no problem. Hope this helps.0
