This thread is fantastic, i too used to get easilly embarrased as a youngster but i soon realised that if stuff happened to me then i wasnt gonna be the only one on the planet it happened too.
I have been in stiches reading some of the posts and i have sympathised with others knowing i have been through the same.
Im gonna print off these pages and then when my DD grows up i shall give her them to read, then she will know that there is no need to be embarrased about what her body is doing. Im lucky my nan has never kept anything from me she has told me all the horror stories and down sides of being a woman and even now cant refrain herself from telling me what her body has just done to her.
Leaking and having a stain on my trousers is my worst nightmare it happened to me once when i was 13, when i was hanging out with friends trying to look cool to impress that boy i had my eye on, then one of the popular nasty girls said EURGHHHH whats that on your bum is it blood, thats minging you gypo. I just wished the ground would swallow me up, i went bright red, hung my head in shame and cried all the way home. I didnt got to school for the rest of the week and even asked my mum if we could move house so that i could move schools. When i finally went back to school no one mentioned a thing as another girl was pregnant at 13 so she was the topic of the weeks gossip.
Ever since then whenever it is that time of the month out come the black trousers and long jumpers that cover my bum.
My mum always told me when i was younger that the only thing she enjoyed about being pregnant was that there was no periods for 9 months, i think thats why she had so many kids.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0
