ANYONE who is entitled would of received a letter recently and the payments are paid without notification after the original letter..i would say if you havnt got a letter you are not entitled....you dont have to apply for cold weather payments,if you are entitled,they tell you.

question my wife gets IS But it is me/us who get the disability income garantee.. will we b entilted mto the cold weather payment if we meet the requirments

I phoned them the other day and was told the trigger had been set last saturday and a payment would follow,but regarding the third one no info on that on at present as I thought originally only two had been triggered but according to Sennybridge its three, I know usually when a trigger is set I usually receive the payment roughly 9 days later going on previous payments - hope that makes sense lol

also with regards to notification for other people - Everytime, I have received a CWP I have received notification after the payment has been made never before

i just answered this above your original post,basically if uve not got a letter saying your entitled-you wont be. like i said before you dont have to apply for it,its given automatically to those who are.no letter-no entitlement.

I recieved the £60 and the £25 cold weather payment today my postcode is Dn21

is that the 60 people are getting on incapacity benefit plus others? i had my cwp today and according to channel 4 i got another coming

The £60 is my winter bonus payment for carers

just called income support office

post codes sw1 to sw20 should get automatic cwp payment by end of next week

£25 payment in post office today for CF44 - the second payment received so far during this cold spell - third on way apparantly
