@durain - I was in a similar situation - Be* wouldnt match the tariff O2 were offering but moving from Be* to BO2 you need no notice and have little or no downtime (i was down with no internet for 30mins)0

Thanks Alx B. I will do that just to make sure. Although, surely if they send me the MAC then this is proof that I cancelled?0

^ nope, a mac request is proof of a mac request, not that it has been used. some users routinely request a mac each month on the offchance a better offer comes alongUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

@halil - how long ago did you complete the order and how far along the process are you? You could try and change the PAYG number, or cancelling and doning again could be a possibility. Ring up the sales number, they will be able to better help you.0

O2 customer with 2 mobiles and wanting to sgn up to o2 broadband
we at the moment can only get the £17 p/mth deal which is £5 dearer than my eclipse account
eco21...do you know when Grantham (NG31) is oming online with O2 at the exchange so we might sign up to the cheaper deals
been an O2 customer for some 16 years now and feel a little cheated having to pay the larger amount for broadband0 -

@merrcman1969 - ungortunately the price that you are required to pay is higher because you are an adsl customer not a adsl2+ customer (o2 have put hardware into BTs exchanges, which sllows o2 to provide faster speeds) BT charge o2 about £14 a month to use their exchange so the price of adsl is expensive because of this. Just now I don't know how the exchanges are enabled or prioritised. O2 puts rhe information on samknows.co.uk of which exchanges are to enabled and when. Best to keep an eye on there
@halil - I would phone the sales team and try and chsange it before your activation date.0
