I suppose Joy Division could be a lot worse..0 -
don't you just love these debates,
can we do it again next month
We mac users don't really need to blow the Apple Trumpet, We have them,
The more explicit the are the better they stay.
let these windoze users believe they have all they need, and i'll keep using my machine for years to come
I didn't know Apple made musical instruments or that their computers were pornographic.
Its not a matter of believing my Wndows machine has all I need, I know it has. Regardless of whether a Mac can do somethings better the machine I have now can do everything I want of a computer and I don't have any difficulty using it. At the end of the day that's all that matters. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

Not even close.
Apple made $1.678 billion in revenue selling iPods worldwide (11,011,000 of them) in the third quarter of 2008, but made $3.435 billion in revenue selling Macs (1,134,000 of them) in the US alone during the same time period.0 -
It's still 34% of their revenue.. that's quite a chunk0

I believe it's around the same percentage as Microsoft make selling Office.0 -

^ and that's with the rampant piracy of microsoft software, if every copy of office or windows was legally bought, then I'm sure microsoft could buy the world (maybe not literally)Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

I'm a relatively newly converted Macbook user. Got my macbook in March 2008 and won't ever look back
Had a windows PC since Windows 3.1. Use Ubuntu at work instead of windows and now will never use windows again.

Microsoft's revenue was $60 billion for 2008, and Apple's was $32.48 billion.0
