There's some fab stuff going on and i can't remember everyone's names - i know jojo and joeyjimbles are doing really well. well done :T more motivation.
Full of admiration for you Paul for keeping going
Going to count my change on Monday as once i've given hubby money to go away with i will have no cash apart from little one's dinner money. Hoping my grandad pays me for his shopping from the last few weeks but i don't like to harrass him. Managed to keep my own shopping down using my survey luncheon vouchers and nectar points. Rest had to go on credit card but at least i know it's not too much. I am now praying that nothing else goes wrong this week and that hubby does get paid Thursday.
HI PAYBACKINTIME I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE GOT IT NOW .... you know that bit about everyone writing their PaD PAYMENTS IN BOLD :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

ok so I had a chat to OH about the loan turns out we can not make any extra payments like how id like to not even save it up and put £100 odds here and there to it, its non flexi and £11,104.40 untill July 2013I could sob for thinking the next 3 years we will STILL be in debt...
I don't know how I will cope as I had a plan on what we was clearing ect just feel its never ending I know my total isn't alot to others but I have spent since we was 18 in debt near 11 years I will of be in debt and I so didn't want my girl growing up with that over my head and I always said I would never marry with the debt so I guess my dream weddin will ( always be in my dreams ) sorry I so wish I was happy, let's just say I will be saving very hard secretly to clear debts
seriously not impressed at all I guess 1 thing is what the total is, is what were paying.......... jus feel its never ending suppose my dreams for my baby and my life in general have gone !! sorry all
Just think, if you clear you smaller debts and then save as much as possible over the next few years, your loan will be decreasing at the same time. You will get to the point, all being well, where you will have saved enough to repay the outstanding balance, so you will still have shaved time off your repayment date. At the same time you'll have the reassurance that if you have any problems there's money to fall back on.
Don't give up hun, you've done so well so far. My hubby isn't on board with all this either which makes it hard, but i just keep at regardless. I am proud of myself and you should be proud of you too
Take care hun. Big hugOne step at a time0 -
Good morning
Had to get up early to move my car  Parked up late last night in vulnerable position! Took ages to de-ice ! Rather that than it being vandalised up in nearby road overnight.
Surprise card from DD yesterday. Not seen her for nearly year. Emmigrated to Yorkshire some time ago! Been meaning to visit but dear old dad did not want to 'travel all that way by car' and thought it 'cold up north'. Did not want to leave him on his own while I went! But DD has sent two tickets for us to fly from London to Durham and stay with her for 2 weeks in April. :j
Dad has never flown before:eek: but I am sure he will love it !!!!! Arranging to drive to London and leave car at DS's house and he can taxi us to airport thus saving parking charges !!!!!
Been reading through all posts... sooooo many.
Clarissa D : thank you for sharing your thoughts .... we all have struggled and know what it is like ... but you will cope... and it is good to know that other people are thinking of you. Just hang on in there !!!!!
Everyone have a good day.
£5.00 to loan
Catch up again later. Off to do some housework to keep warm ... yes it is that cold here !!!!!

Miss T - That is so lovely!! The flight will only be realy short but it's so exciting - and to see your DD for 2 weeks. I bet you have loads to catch up on. OH and I are flying to Glasgow from Birmingham in April rather than drive. It's cost us £14 each on a deal with BMI - less to fly than drive!!
I had a lovely surprise when I checked my bank account this morning. It's a long story but in essence when my first husband and I split 11 years ago the kids stayed with him Mon - Fri (weekends with me) so they could remain in same school as I moved just 3 miles over the county border (he wouldn't move out:mad: ). It was really hard but I remained positive and actually had more 'quality time' with them at weekends. He claimed the child benefit but several years ago he changed jobs, kids moved back to me Mon-Fri and weekends with him. I forgot about Child Benefit until last Oct when I asked him if I could have it (counting every penny now!). He agreed but in his usual way took weeks to notify CB people ..... but today £129.10 has appeared in my bank account!!!!
It's amazing ... it feels like 'free money' because I've never had it before! It will go to pay for a school trip DD has to go in July (£400!) and then to pay off debts. I'm so happy to have this little windfall.
Have made PAD of £5.12 to round this week up to £50. Going to pay it off card this morning.
Had to share my good news .... very smiley this morning. :j :j :j
