    What you could do is put it into premium bonds-not impossible to get to but takes 14 days so not so tempting to "dip into" unless you really need it.
    I know thinking is premium bonds aren't a good way to save but if it keeps the money intact it might be a solution........and who knows you might just win a decent prize !

    PAD = £13.24
    Off the dreaded MBNA - they take less than the interest as minimum payment, so I need to throw every thing extra at that until I tart it at the end of the month!

    Well i had no money in my account today to pay the fortnightly budgeted expenses:eek:
    Though we have stuck to the monthly budget because all the DD's come out at the begining of the month we were left short.
    So i cashed up my change jar and cashed in a scratch card from god knows when that i found for £3 (havent done them in months!) i know that if i count this cash as budgeted spend (actualy less than usual) we should go under budget for the month?
    Well thats the plan anyway:rolleyes: i don't count any change jar cash in any challenge unless it can reduce my debt.
    So hopefully will be better off in the next few weeks?
    Though we now have food to last us for the next few days and £30 to put on the gas meter all saved from original budget or underspending, so i think i'm doing well although never sure untill paydays arrive?
    I resisted using my clubcard points as i'm hoping that in 2010 we can take a holiday in sunnier climates,(£48 in points so far and £16 already on next statement already mostly through recycling) though i know they are there in case we get really in trouble!

    Its only impossible if you say it is maybe try an online savings account that you cant withdraw from with out a long process and dont let it show you the total online as not to tempt you..... there is a lot of things that dont seem possible but its worth a go !!
    Ooh, I totally agree with this suggestion. I am saving to pay off my overdraft at the moment as if I put the money into the overdraft account at the moment I would spend it, so I'm waiting until I have a lump sum. :rotfl: I opened an account with A&L which pays monthly interest into the account, but does not pay interest in any month that you withdraw. That is working to motivate me.

    Hello!

    I'm taking half any of any profit I make on Amazon/Ebay and putting it towards my debts just now (The other half to give my other half an awesome birthday) so:

    £4 to Overdraft Begone
    £5 to Barclaycard (It's been a while since I paid to it)

    Total PAD £9

    Have a lovely Saturday all, I'm off to work soon :eek:
