A Payment a Day Part 2!

What I love about this thread, its so supportive and positive, we all feel we are geting somewhere! I had a meeting with the big boss today, telling them everything that I do and she agreed that I go above and beyond my role, going to look at what she can do re my money. I work for local authority so they can't just up my pay but might be able to justify extra for bits of work I do. To be honest just glad I am in a secure job in this environment. But have decided if more comes in it will be added to my PAD to knock more off my debt.0

Evening all.
I've made my £5 PAD into my jar but didn't manage to get to the bank to make my payment to the card as I was so busy! I'll go in tomorrow morning and do it. Feeling so pleased that I'm making an overpayment. :T
This is definately the way to get that debt down. I think my problem has been that when the debt is so vast I don't feel as if I'm reducing it so get demotivated .... this way I'm reducing it EVERYDAY!!!
I'm going to have a go this weekend at setting some of my cards up online so I can make the payments anytime. Actually felt excited about opening credit card bills today as I'm not ignoring the balances, just keen to enter them onto my spreadsheet and see the total reduce each month .... is that sad??? or a DFW occupational hazard!
Can't believe it's the 9th of the month already!

Hi
Well got to bank and stopped myself being overdrawn so that's good but in the meantime (all of 56 minutes and I did call them in advance and they said it would be OK) they returned the Nat Ins payment as 'insufficient funds' so that's a pain. Anyone got any experience - do I call them up or will they re-present it, do you think? Its all of £11.50 so its hardly going to be a major disaster but still....grr. Anyone know what to do?
On the plus side I made a payment of £58.50 to my card taking me to within pennies of £50 left to pay and when my paypal hits my account either end of next week or sooner I will have it paid off.:T :j :T
With the delight of the big scary one to sober me up I suppose. But still....!!!:rotfl:LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Hi all,
Got nearly £25 from Amazon today for some books and DVD's that I sold so my PaD will be £25 to Citi cards.
I can't believe that I have only been doing this for 9 days, and I have already cleared the next account and Citi cards will only have about £30 left. I know that they were only small, but at this rate, I feel like I'm on a roll!
Soon I think I might be able to post the big debts in my sig!
Good luck everyone and have a good evening.

Good for you JoJo - well done. I'm so looking forward to clearing this card I'm working on. The next one is about 10 times as big but it is the only other outstanding debt that I have apart from the mortgage so I'm just going to hurl everything at it as I'd love to be doing my PAD to get the mortgage down - that would feel so great! I know I'm getting ahead of myself but its what keeps me focused.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300
