Just to share with you folks.
Found a great price for the holiday we [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] needin September.. our dear friends in corfu 25th:j
Lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth as to whether we can afford itthen decided oh b*gger it.yes:j
Could get same good deal by phone as on line so rang up to check things out..payment by cc..(extra insurace) ... payment not accepted..:o
I know I was on the phone, but you know that sinking feeling in your stomach and total embarrasment.. ..yep ..that's the one:o
BUT, thanks to this site I know that cc is good soquickly replaced by:mad:
Rang nationwide & it seems there had been a stop on my card due to possible fraud as a firm had tried to take 1p from account and they thought that was a faudulent test. Shame that happened begining of Dec and they forgot to tell me!! Can you imagine if I had used it to fill up car?
Anyway, guess I'm pleased they are vigilant and company are reserving holiday for me. A year ago I wouldn't have known if it was my fault or not!
So from now until September may have to make 2 PADS! :rotfl:0 -

I think I got a bit excitable at the start of the month so I better slow down a bit otherwise I won't have anything left at payday :rotfl:0 -

Updated my signature today as I thought it was about time I knew EXACTLY where I am with my DFD challenge! A wee bit scared by the total! I spoke to some lovely people at Mint this evening who said I'm all done on the 0% BT but will only be paying 14.9% (muchos better than Virgin). I told them about Virgin and the 34.9% interest I'm paying and I'm convinced I heard the lovely lady fall off her chair! :rotfl: She said not to worry about Mint as I'm not due to move on the % rates anytime soon. PHEW!
I am enjoying some vino and typing up all my millions of notes for my t'interview next week like a crazed fruit bat!
Hope you're all enjoying your evening so far!

Can't believe it's almost 10pm! Must have spent ages catching up with the days posts..... well done everyone on the PADing today :T
£10 PAD for me today which I've added to the rest of what I'd put aside and sent it with a smile to egg card.... which makes it a little bit closer to me and them saying our goodbyes! He he, can't wait for that day :rotfl:
Am working this weekend so won't be doing any un necessary spending (will need petrol and a grocery shop tomorrow) but all in all it feels good that I'll be getting paid some overtime and it's already been allocated for my PAD challenge :A
Enjoy your lie ins everyone
