Small but steady progress!! Another £1.25 to the Egg Card. Hoping to curb this weekends usual social spending and post some bigger totals next week. I will be posting some little PAD's over the weekend too as there's definately little piles of coins hanging around in my flat which can be thrown at the cards.
Have a great weekend all and keep making those PAD's. No matter how small, everyone is making wicked progress!
Andy.

Ok, moneywise, the start to the year has not been fantastic - I have bought car which I needed and with insurance, that has cost nearly £700. Parents have given me loan for part of it, luckily interest free. Had cut my overdraft to £50, so thats a lot lower, just need to work on credit cards
Oh well I was doing so well - I will just have to start again with PAD and work it down slowly!! Hopefully will get some money back I am owed in the middle of the month - might put advert in paper for private tutoring (maths teacher - anyone want tutoring in Wey/Dorch area?!). Will all be fine I am sure....just annoying, I was doing well!

Hi all
Hoping to make a biggish payment today later on but first have to go and sort out the bank as the Nat Ins people took my direct debit early and the Mystery Shopping people appear to be paying me late. Fortunately FD were really nice on the phone and said provided I pay the amount missing in today they won't slap an Overdraft fee on me (I cancelled the O/D last year when I began PAD and cleared it). So that's good on balance.
Private and Confidential - I see what you mean about paying off earlier in the month. I think everyone has to find a way that works for them but goes back to the principle of doing something every day to reduce their debt.
So a lot of PAD-ers are making their PAD's from change in their purse, spending less on budgeted shopping, extra monies coming in from bingo, surveys etc as well as what they had budgeted for and/or minimum payment. Others, I think like the discipline of doing a small payment every day such as rounding down bank accounts or just chunking up the debt which also means that they don't pay a huge amount off too early and then find something else needs paying for later in the month and not have enough funds.
For what its worth I make a small payment daily from my purse or finds in the house into a moneybox and take it to the bank whenever I can. I am making a payment a day but don't actually count the money til it hits the bank. If I get paid extra money during the month for mystery shopping, surveys etc then I pay off whatever I can as well online.
Hope that all made sense!LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300
