  • Thank you for the kind words I guess its depression, atlease my OH reads thread with me when I have a chuckle at peps lil chin ups and things :D but I can see how frustraiting it is I think men are in denial and think that is soley how it is meant to be, I wouldn't be to bothered about the debt now if it wasn't raised up to £10K plus interests = £12K but I do think it is 100% stoopid you can't pay towards it... seriously if it is a fixed loan and interest been added to it already I seriously do not get why we can't make payments here and there  either way there still getting whats owed !!
    sorry soo frustraited :o
does anyone have any advice on cards to do Balance Transfers at all so that we can make 1 payment to once place and have a time scale to do it in ?? the mind boggles
yet again I have another Trojan how I got it I don't know but I can't work out anything till then... I am hoping that we can open account to "SAVE" into for loan I will have to see about any charges on the loan if it was paid off sooner..

ps does anyone know why my strikethrough will not work ???????????
works on puter in word so I thought I would be sneaky and cut and paste but again computer said no !!!! Ugh would be so much easier to do sig if only it would work .... all I get is STRIKETHROUGH either side of amount!

I have to type [ strike] before the word (without the space) then [/ strike] after it (again without the space)

    [strike]I can strikethrough stuff fine![/strike]
  • Good morning

Had to get up early to move my car  Parked up late last night in vulnerable position! Took ages to de-ice ! Rather that than it being vandalised up in nearby road overnight.

Surprise card from DD yesterday. Not seen her for nearly year. Emmigrated to Yorkshire some time ago! Been meaning to visit but dear old dad did not want to 'travel all that way by car' and thought it 'cold up north'. Did not want to leave him on his own while I went! But DD has sent two tickets for us to fly from London to Durham and stay with her for 2 weeks in April. :j
Dad has never flown before:eek: but I am sure he will love it !!!!! Arranging to drive to London and leave car at DS's house and he can taxi us to airport thus saving parking charges !!!!!

Been reading through all posts... sooooo many.

Clarissa D : thank you for sharing your thoughts .... we all have struggled and know what it is like ... but you will cope... and it is good to know that other people are thinking of you. Just hang on in there !!!!!

    Everyone have a good day.

    £5.00 to loan

Catch up again later. Off to do some housework to keep warm ... yes it is that cold here !!!!!

    miss t

I'm sure you'll both love it there. My sis moved to Co Durham a few years back. I do drive up there once in a while (300 miles each way). Co Durham is a beautiful county IMO and I look forward to my next visit there (probably not this year though unless I have some financial luck). What a pity you won't be driving. I think it's the only county in England that has no fixed speed cameras ;) .
