  • Special hugs to tuppie and Clarissa and everyone on here as well. A debit came out of my account today and left me with 12p which I put towards a cc. Not much, but made me feel better. Work isnt very nice right now, so I needed cheering up, but found 21p on the floor as I left the building, so its gone in the change jar! xxx

    Hi all.

    It's a cold one today!

£1 PAD to that nasty Egg Card.

I got my new Wii today with the gift vouchers that work gave to me.:j

So, going to stay in and play games tonight rather than go out in town drinking. That should save me £50 to add to the PAD total next week.

Keep it up everyone and best wishes to anyone feeling a little down. Stick with it. We're all getting a little closer everyday to giving those banks, card providers and store cards the middle finger!

£1 for me today. Waiting on about £55 of things to come in from Amazon, bingo etc so just taking it easy for the next couple of days.

Paid of the £60 I had accumulated in my PAD account to tesco today but don't count that as it's already been counted in the past 4 weeks. Feels good to know that I have paid of £80 to tesco this month which is great.

Keep going folks even those who are finding it hard, and hugs to those that need them.
  • Big hugs to all in need! Sometimes it can feel like an impossible, never ending mountain to climb. BUT. As I've said before. We really are the lucky ones, because we are here, and therefore heading in the right direction. Take some comfort in that. There are 100s of thousands out there still who are adding to their debts.

I am about to undertake some financial jiggery pokery! (I do so love that word!) I am about to pay off my Halifax CC with my Halifax overdraft, then use a halifax cc cheque to payback the overdraft!!!

Halifax have given me 6.8% lob transfer on cc, and also just upped current interest rate to 16.8% on card....anyone still with me????.....so......pay off current balance and use cheque which will be at 6.8%....what a lot of nonsense we have to go through eh!

    £4.43 PAD for me today.

For those who are struggling with OH's you have my sympathies :grouphug: it's almost as though they think that a couple of pounds here and there will have no effect, but as we all know, every little helps ;)

Thanks to Freisian for keeping up with our totals :T :kisses3:
