    Evening everyone,
    I have had the worst day today - the type where you wish you hadnt got out of bed!
    This last week has been a bit hellish with money, we had to use the CC for the car but it wasnt a major panic because we didnt think it would be that much - it turned out to be twice as much as the estimate!
    So now my CC is back up to the maximum limit, then when we were in town OH and i went into tha bank and realised interest had been added to the CC sending it over the limit. So that will now have a £12 charge added soon aswell. It competely riuned my day.
    I just came home and cried - i dont know why really i just feel so fed up with it all.
    Anyway sorry for the moan, PAD is £20

    Evening all,
    PAD = £10.05 to smegg.
    Like many others have to be careful until payday.
    Also got MOT due, and need to go and get new glasses, but just found out about a discount place, so going to give them a try!

    ooops, hadn't finished!
    Just wanted to say to Paul that I know what you mean, some customers/jobs are just not worth having, OH is a 'handyman' and some jobs can be too fiddly or awkward, and yes, some jobs are just too small given travelling etc! and like you say some people have the attitude that you should be grateful that they are even considering giving you some work!

    People who you think have a good idea of prices and/or have plenty of money often moan about the price of a job, then you have others who are so grateful that they've had a decent job done and you haven't ripped them off that they pay extra!

    Pleased to report now that Spring is nearly sprung he has some work coming in... a few have to wait for better weather, but at least there is some light at the end of our own personal tunnel!
