hey everyone, although I'm not technically new here (been a bit of a lurker!!). I'm ready to post! And you guys have really motivated me to put some money into my savings everyday. I'm not in debt, but feel that I should be saving towards something, maybe a house deposit? And I think the motivation from this thread will help me!
Well £1.76 today, not much but every little helps i guess.
Good luck to everyone else in their quests

evening all! hope you're feeling brighter now, flower08 - as you said, tomorrow is a new day. cars are great as long as they are running okay, but a total nightmare when they go wrong!
big hello to kellz01 - have fun watching your savings grow and slowing turning as mad as the rest of us (assuming you aren't already!:D)
terri - ask away, i'm nosy too (maybe not so apparent on mse, but in real life completely!)...i'm going at lunchtime on 20 march, staying one night and back late-ish on saturday. i actually saw my friend back in august, but before that time it was years and years, so we still have loads of catching up to do. and hopefully we will get chance to have a little nosy round belfast, i've only been once and that was only to get passports from the us embassy...
looooooong day today (buying shoes for kids etc - totally knackered after taking both of them in the shops, one i can handle but together they are a force to be reckoned with!) so...PAD is ***1.05*** and i'm off to bed.
xx nearly friday now!Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Hi everyone.
No Pad again today I'm afraid. My car is till in the garage  (been there since Monday!) and I am afraid to spend any money until I have had the bill. So another no spend day today!!
DSs are both away this weekend;) so will be Ebaying like mad to try and get some money towards the car. Really annoying as I thought I had everything budgetted really well this month.
Hopefully getting some extra hours at work for 6-8 weeks:dance: so that will help and fingers crossed my Tax Credits will go up next month (never quite sure how the calculate that). Been doing surveys like mad too.
Hope everyone is ok, I love reading the postings on here:heart2:LBM O/D £4300, CC £3,450, Next £350, Loan £9200:eek:  :eek:PaD Joined 14/2/09 £194.01:T£2 coins for Xmas 2009 Target £200 - £16:ANSD Feb 09 9/10:cool:NSD Mar 09 10/160 -
Hi Everyone
PAD today = £53.05. Pleased with this, it's partly from the council tax free month, I'm holding on to the rest for now in case I need it before the end of the month.
Enjoyed reading the thread tonight, I've had an urge all day to buy something for myself but have managed to resist, but reading about the charity shops has given me some hope that I might be able to pick something up to cheer me up!
Thanks!

Hi Everyone
I've just finished my latest stint of doing surveys (I think I might be close to a payout on Valued Opinions at last!) and I am currently doing battle with Gala Bingo - they appear to have redesigned the rooms and 'Advanced Ticket' function does not appear to working properly. This means that instead of being able to 'buy' my tickets for the free games in advance, I have to wait until the game is just about to start and do 'Quick Buy' instead, leaving me a window of only about 2 or 3 minutes in which to buy my tickets. Very frustrating!
In addition, I have been drinking lashings of ginger beer this evening and I am now paying the price - heartburn which keeps coming and going. Must eat some more yoghurt to try to head it off!
So here I am, needing a little light relief!!PigginSkint's debt free diary
