snow here this morning and really cold. HAd to take DH car for a service but as it a ford I get nectar points and yesterday I got an email offering even more nectar points so off to print out the email to give to them when I pay

Cold and frosty here this morning but sunny!!
Terri I go into charity shops but all I usually buy is books
Feeling a bit down today, got statement from cap1 and interest is £62 and last week from Egg was £74 in interest :mad: one step forward and two steps back!! Am sick of worrying about money and what needs paying this week etc my brain is constantly adding and subtracting!!! :rolleyes: Haven't bought myself anything for ages! Ex hasn't paid me maintenance for last month yet - same thing every bloody month!!! don't even know why I get myself worked up about it cos it's not like its a large amount anyway - doesnt' even cover their food for the month let alone clothes etc!!!!

Thanks for the kind words Fagashlil - a friend is coming with me to the dentist. My OH wanted to come, but I don't really want him to see me cry!!

Daily Coffee Update: Day 9 of Lent - still no coffee. But I had loads of sleep last night, so I don't anticipate having any problems with sleepiness today. :cool: I'm amazed at my own willpower so far - I really thought I would have fallen off the wagon by now.

Here's my Good and Bad for today ....

The Good - Added £1 to my pot ...
Added 5p to change pot ....

The Bad - No CHOCCY bar today .... but i did have a CHOCCY muffin ! ..... Oooooooooooooh and it was soooooooooooooooo yummy ! ....

I went to work this morning and left really early because I was meant to have a blood test at hospital .... but i " skipped " it ...... only because i haven't been very " slack " in taking my daily tablets ! ..... in fact i've forgoten to take them for the last 4 days ! ....... Oooooooops ! ...... So rather than getting " an ear bashing " at hospital i never went ! ..... I feel like a naughty girl playing truant ! ..... So i'm expecting a " slapped wrists " letter in the post tomorrow ! ....

I think i've fallen off the moneysaving " bandwagon " today ...... but in my defence i did get some mega bargains !

I popped into my local charity shop a couple of doors away from work for my daily " rummage " ..... I got a lovely new " Wallis " black skirt only £3 ...... and fits perfectly ..... pity my figure's not perfect ! ...... Also a gorgeous pair of cerise pink sandals ..... which were new .....for £4 ..... they still had the £30 price labels on them ! ..... Also my daughter had her prom a while back and luckily her nan paid for her gorgeous dress that she wore , but yesterday in the charity shop i found her another gorgeous " prom / ball " type dress it's a very pale pink , shows a bit of cleavage ! no sleeves , floor length .... anyway they had put £10 on it .... very flattering on .... so i got that for her as well ! .... If it had been new i suppose it would have cost at least £200 if not more ..... Bargain ! ....

So much for me trying to put more money towards my PAD ! ..... I just can't resist a bargain ..... but god knows when the hell i will ever wear the sandals or where my daugter will wear the dress ? ! .....Just as well that they don't take credit cards in there ! ....... but hey ho .... i haven't had a mad moment for months ! ....

Anyway enough of my ramblings ....

PAD for today is £4.55 still all going to mbna.

Wish I could do more though as the hefty 34.9% is a killer. I have been rejected for the last 2 credit cards I have applied for so am trying to get a family member to help me out....I'm sure it will work out...

Got to be careful now as funds are running low and i got a week till pay day, This months wages will also be half of what i usually get as i had to take time off to move house so streading very carefully this month.

Also told bf to give me his bank account details... (in good taste i promise lol) and i will start padding for him too,

Got 56 items on ebay and lots with watchers, 3days left and loads of bids already so fingers crossed i can make up a little bit of loss of earnings..
