    :hello: Hey everyone!

Aah we're edging closer to the weekend, it's a good feeling!
£1.61 to smEgg card this morning as they've put the interest on for the month - those faster payments don't half make a difference when they wack the interest on :money: There was only about £6 added on his month.

Everyone doing OK? Everyone feeling better?

OH's taking me dinner tomorrow evening wooo I'm all giddy as this rarely happens! :smileyhea Oo what to wear??

Enjoy the sunshine today people if you have it! We even had a wee bit of snow yesterday...
    xx

:hello: Hi Paul, good to see you're still about. Is work picking up again now?

Work is coming in now. However, this is new work. My other work still exists too. That's one of the good things about what I do. The work is frequent repeat so I don't have to constantly seek new work all the time. Once you get to the point of having a full workload, you just need to only take work that improves the business. This is because I have no current ambitions to employ others or to subcontract work to others. I may explore that avenue when my debts are at a more manageable level but that is a few years off.
It's quite funny really as sometimes I answer enquiries for a quotation only to find that it's a £10 job with no reliable access to the back of the property. People can be astonished that I won't take the job when I discover that it can only be done after 1 PM by me making a telephone appointment and then only on certain days of the week. Why should I take work like that when I have plenty to do where I can just turn up and clean whether anyone is home or not? I do make telephone appointments occasionally but these jobs can interfere with my regular schedule so they must be (a) pretty large jobs (b) well paid. If the economy bites so hard that I have to deviate from that policy then I will do so but until then, I won't take on work that has the potential to be detrimental to my income. Some potential customers get carried away with this economic stuff and seem to think that I should be exceedingly grateful for every difficult, unviable job I can get. Maybe it will come to that but it hasn't happened yet. I still have gaps to fill in but won't take unviable work to fill those gaps.
