Hi all, hope everyone's having a good day
Just another £1 for me today but it's better than nothing!
Having a day in today getting house clean and tidy and stuff ready for back to work tomorrow... DH feeling hard done by as he ONLY had 2 weeks off for christmas and is stressing about the early start in the morning  whereas I've only had 2 days off and will manage getting up no problem :rotfl:
Fingers crossed I find some stray pennies or pounds while I'm tidying up :cheesy:

I don't include my loan payment as I'm not making PADs to it at the moment.
That does make some sense to me. Not sure that I would ever make an additional PAD to a fixed loan anyway as there isn't usually any real benefit when they lump the interest on the front end. It would probably be more worthwhile going into some savings account to earn the little bit of interest you can still get for it. One of my loans should be complete before I've paid off my CCs but the other should still be current by that time. It's got to be CCs first though anyway.0 -
Hi
I've just put the £30 that I managed to keep back from this weeks food money in my tin towards my holiday spends making the total £34 so far (I know that I won't be able to keep this up because we're still finishing up the Xmas food but I'm making hay while the sun shines.
Happy saving everyone

HI all and welcome to all the new 'faces'
What resolve everyone is showing - it feels so lovely and positive on here (as it always does but there seems to be new enthusiasm from the start of the year).
Pennies in the box for me - I'm working on building up a large paypal total by selling on ebay, cashing in some survey points and doing Slice the Pie (see Up Your Income for that one) so that I can pay this last lump of CC off early and get to the big scary one. I'm wondering if I'd be able to get an 0% deal elsewhere but as I don't have a regular income I don't really want to damage my credit status (poor as it is!) by being rejected. Hi all, hope all is well with the world.
Total pad £2.63 to Kal today - this cat should be cleared by the end of the month.
Had an email Quidco have paid me, so I will use that off Kal too when it gets to my bank, it's only about £6 this month as I drastically reduced my spending since joining Pad.
have a great day

Afternoon all. A lazy start to the day for our household. Last day of the holidays!
Pauldebtbegone - Thanks for the advice re; Virgin and MBNA. Hadn't realised that they are the same company so will do a bit of shuffling and move Barclaycard to Virgin and then the MBNA balance to Barclaycard on LOB. It's so hard to know which cards are managed by who!!
Played cards with my family last night and won £6 so that's my PAD for today. Was a very late night hence a very nice lie in today.
A NSD for me today! Hope everyone else is enjoying the last remaining hours of the hols (if you haven't gone back to work yet).

£4.90 for me to PAd account tidying up bank account. have taken out cash for my grocery spend and also my 'entertainment' budget for the month so hopefully my account will not change now until after I have been paid in 2 weeks time!!
I am going off to do an inventory of the food in the cupboards and freezer as I have loads but not sure exactly what is in there. I am really hoping not to spend much of the grocery budget as I want to put whatever is left onto my PAD account0 -
Morning everyone, hope you're all well and not too cold! It's blimmin' freezing here today!
Miss T - awful news about the cars! There really are some a-holes out there!
Paul - I include my DD min payments as PADs but I do still try to make an extra payment on that day, even if it is only £1. hth
