I ordered a Sim last night -said then they would have it to me for 5pm tomorrow, an email this morning to say there is a delay and it will be 5 to 7 days. How do I get the customer rate for the broadband before deal expires on the 9th???0

If I recall correctly there is an option button on the O2 site for this purpose. We are still waiting to here about the deadline.

I am already on O2 broadband package (GBP 7.5/month). I am getting this message after clicking the GBP 9.79/m package and entering the BT phone no.
Order already exists against this number in system.
Seems like its not possible to upgrade via this path to get cashback !0 -

So once o2 discounts are applied it would be about #12 per month. Still cheaper than my current BT as that is limited to 20 mbs download so worth the change for me....
Hmm. Even though my exchange is listed as unbundled my phone no comes up as unavailable on their website....0 -

I had a similar issue when originally trying to sign up with SKY - I think the reason for your finding might be that -
Your area is unbundled, but O2 may temporarily have run out of CAPACITY for unbundled in your area, due to demand.
SKY registered my interest, and then when Capacity became available, they put me on their Free 2-meg broadband immediately - perhaps you can speak to O2 about doing the same?0 -
I have just applied to become an 02 broadband customer and on the Quidco site, it is presently saying the offer finishes 31st January. 2009 so it looks as though it has been extended. Sally0

Sally thanks, I notice today they have a Quidco Exclusive banner also however I still cant see a deadline. Perhaps it's me or my PC (cache) but could you show me the link. Don't disbelieve you, just cant see it when I go there!
Cheers

I planned to take this deal, as an existing O2 customer. however, when I called my current ISP (AOL ), they offered me unlimited downloads plus free phone calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers 24x7, all for £6.99.
I'd still have to pay for my landline calls on top fo the O2 deal, so this works out around the same. :beer:C'mon you Canaries!!0 -
As long as you have credit on your O2 chip it doesn't expire so no hidden holes. I have a work mobile so use mine very little but have an O2 Pay as you go just in case never had issues with my credit expiring within a certain time period.
This is good broadband at a very good price its costing less than 5quid a month....
Thanks
It think it was me that was mistaken. I thought PAYG expired at the end of a month. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
Signed up for O2 Standard Broadband £7/month , O2 PAYG SIM £10 and £70 Quidco cashback (tracked). O2 BB reviews very good. Fingers , very firmly, crossed.0 -
I checked on Monday online to see if I could get this. Yes speeds up to 19 Meg. Great.
Yesterday registered with Quidco and bought an O2 SIM (free for £10 top-up from O2 shop). Tried to buy O2 Broadband and it says only Access is avaible.
Hmm.. something fishy here!
Phoned O2 this AM and was told that the exchange is completely full now, and that it will be a month or so before a new link is installed.0
