Sorry if this is in the wrongthread.

12 months ago I switched to o2 Broadband getting £60 cashback through quidco and on a trarrif of £7.32 a month. Asked for o2 retentions yesterday saying I was leaving. Retentions offered me £2.50 a month or 2 months free. Took the £2.50 off options so my bill will be £4.82 a month.

Good to know thanks. I went for the quidco £70 cashback offer. I got paid, no problems. My contracts up in January, so will be looking for another cashback deal or getting a discount from the retentions team
  • the £70 cash back looks a far better money saver. Though how much longer its available for is the concern - the o2 free month offer for new customers is advertised .
  • About o2 retentions on broadband, the £2.50 a month, is that off the current price ? Or is it the current price? And how long does it last? Any idea?
  • Hi,

A couple of weeks ago I signed up for the 02 deal through Top Cashback. I can see through ‘my account’ with TCB that everything has gone through and it says that payment is due in November. I (cynically) presume that there is going to be some clause or condition that I don’t meet which will invalidate the claim. Does anybody know what I must/must not do to ensure that I get the money?

    TIA
