Sally thanks, I notice today they have a Quidco Exclusive banner also however I still cant see a deadline. Perhaps it's me or my PC (cache) but could you show me the link. Don't disbelieve you, just cant see it when I go there!
Cheers
Alan
Can anyone confirm the 31st Jan deadline, Because I have contract with AOL till Feb 20th, so was hoping to get a mac arround 23-24 Jan. Then take O2 via Quidco. I have some o2 sims hoping to move to O2 when my mobile contract ends on 1st March.

I've contacted Quidco about when their £70 cashback offer on O2 Broadband expires and they confirmed as follows:
"Thank you for your enquiry. The £70 offer is currently set to expire at 11:59pm on the 11th of January 2008. There is no further extension of this offer as yet. Kind regards Steve, Quidco"
Too late for me as can't change to a BT line in time, but hopefully this may help others.

Already on home broadband, though at end of contract (after a year) but wasn't allowed to upgrade to the premiere option with the sale, which would have worked out cheaper
Not that I saw that in their T&C but arguing didn't help.

First apologies for not replying sooner but hadn't been back into this forum. I have just looked on the 02 web site again (although not closely as a little pushed for time at the moment) but now can't see it. However, I now read that someone has emailed Quidco and they say it is now 11th Jan deadline. I am sorry, it was not my intention to give 'wrong' information and of course I just wouldn't make it up!!! A senior moment more like it. Sally0 -
I checked on Monday online to see if I could get this. Yes speeds up to 19 Meg. Great.
Yesterday registered with Quidco and bought an O2 SIM (free for £10 top-up from O2 shop). Tried to buy O2 Broadband and it says only Access is avaible.
Hmm.. something fishy here!
Phoned O2 this AM and was told that the exchange is completely full now, and that it will be a month or so before a new link is installed.0 -
Hi
I spend hours on this site trying to cut back on our bills but, I'm not very good at it.
We just got tricked by door step saleman into changing our gas/electric company after being assured I would still qualify for the 15% discount I was already getting to be told, now we've switched, that we don't qualify . Luckily, I managed to switch back to the original company with the original discount intact.
I am now nervous of making a similar mistake so I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea if switching from BT to O2 is going to be worth my doing. Our BT bills are going up each time. The last one was:
BT total option £63.80
Line rental, unlimited weekend and evening calls £30.00
Calls £60.00
Pay charges £4.50
VAT £24.71.
This is for 3 months. Will I save a lot by going to O2?
Sorry for being a thicko. but, I'm scared of making a boo boo.
Thank you

Hi - you realise that this thread is purely about O2 broadband? You don't make it clear whether you have broadband.
You'll still need a BT line so £34 a quarter for line rental - but if you have BB you can save on broadband by getting O2 due to Quidco offering £70 cashback and being able to get it for half price if you're an O2 customer (even PAYG - you'll need to top up £10 a quarter). The basics - £88.11 cost less £70 cashback plus £40 O2 topups - make broadband less than a fiver a month.
From the detail you gave - £60 in call charges could be beaten down to a fraction of that if you use https://www.18185.co.uk.0 -

I phoned AOL today for a MAC code. They offered me £6.99 plus aol talk 24/7 free. New wireless router (even though I have one). 12 months contract. I still asked for a MAC they let me out of contract since I had another 6 weeks to go. They emailed me the offer incase I change my mind.
They sent me the Mac code now.
The offer from aol is good, My daytime phone used is about under £2 in 2 months via 1899.
Just hope quidco tracks.

If your Quidco has tracked you should be able to see it on the site within the hour. Note they are saying paying out times is approximately 60 days. Sally0 -
Hi Thanks Sallysaver
I ordered it around 8.30, I have an email confirming from O2. But quidco no tracking yet.
