PLEASED TO ADVISE THAT I RECEIVED TODAY MY £100.00 CREDIT FOR OPENING TUP THE BARCLAYS ACCOUNT. I WENT IN TO A BARCLAYS BRANCH THE OTHER DAY AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD NOT BE GETTING IT, BUT TODAY RECEIVED THE PAYMENT. I THINK THE LADY WAS GETTING A BIT CONFUSSED AS I HAD TAKEN THE OFFER OUT BEFORE THE ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED. HOWEVER I COMPLAINED, AND AM NOT SURE IF THIS WHY I RECEIVED MY PAYMENT OR IF AS I HAD AGREED WITH THE TERMS THEY JUST PAID IT ME.

WOULD SUGGEST THAT IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR PAYMENT AFTER MAKING YOUR SECOND £1000 POUNDS THAT YOU ALSO COMPLAIN!

£100 was paid into my account on the 27th March, oh and 12p interest. Thanks to MSE.

OH received his £100 into account on 23rd. This was exactly 28 calendar days from 2nd £1000 being paid in.

My £100 should be paid in next week.

We have decided to put the money towards our summer holiday.

Just checked my online Barclays current £100 credited,with a ref saying apologies,not the easiest £100,but it was worth the challenge,some had it harder than others, some have not been paid,and had to jump through hoops.The money seems to be going out ,so my little post seems like crowing, it is for information only.

Still checking self's & wife's accounts. Still no century in either. Will have to await next paper statements from Barclays to see when £1k.s were credited before looking for that 0500 complaints phone no. after 28 days elapsed....

Just checked my account and the £100 has been credited.
Now to close the account!
