YOU ARE GONNA LIKE THIS....... I'VE GOT IT !!!! THE £100 SMACKEROONIES WENT IN TODAY !!

Well actually its my wife who got it.

So then, just to confirm a few things regarding concerns / queries we have all had,as they have set a precedent here.

My wife paid in first grand afew days before end of January, next grand paid in 1 WEEK LATER A FEW DAYS INTO FEBRUARY. Therefore they have classed this as meeting the criteria !!

Also, she obviously joined when the offer was displayed on the internet, but by the time all forms had been filled in etc, it was probably at least 27/1/06 and was no longer available, but this has not been held against her as we feared.

Dont get me wrong, she complained 2 weeks ago as soon as the 28 days after the second payment was up, so its a complaint and 40+ days to actually get the payment.No official answer from the complaint yet, so dont know if it was that or just normal procedure that caused the payment to be made.

Only 1 thing though - I opened an account within seconds of her, have done exactly the same with payments etc, and even had my complaint on the same letter as hers, yet no £100 in my account. A bit worried about that as i didnt get the email a few weeks ago like she did, reminding about the £100 conditions ?

Must stay on the case with that.

So then, am i the first ?????????

i'd say yes as the delay was imposed by them

My wife and I have both received our £100 credits to our respective accounts today......so, as the second £1000 was credited to each account on 24th February, it is definitely 28 calendar days from the secod deposit! If you don't get it in that time scale......start moaning!!

I have had a very apologetic letter from Barclays following a "complaint" (letter) I made after making an unnecessary trip to a Branch (who then lost my paperwork).

Have only made one £1000 deposit (actually, made two on consecutive days - 7th and 8th March! but then withdrew on when I realised the Ts&Cs). Anyway, £100 credited yesterday WITH APOLOGIES

both me and the missus have had £100 credited today, thats 13 and 6 days respectivley after the 2nd £1000's showed in barclays a/c!!

for info, i never had any email mentioning £100 at any point, missus did.

a complaint was made early on due to misinformation.

we both had to take id into branch.

missus was conned into a fee charging account in branch but this was reversed.

our deposits were made at least one calander month apart.

i call this a result, hope you all have the same success.
